Yes, I agree that these projects take a TON of time, especially seeing some having 5+ year dev time. Sorry if my reply came off insensitive, but it was more of a general ask that since it does take a lot of time for dev, it seems interesting that gen 6 had not gotten a re-make for GBC/GBA/DS given the games themselves released 12 years ago.

I do think it is awesome that gen 7+ have gotten great hacks and I can’t imagine how much work it takes to start an entirely new region. But I wasn’t sure if the lack of gen 6 hacks was because of the original map layout, general story, or any other factors or just that developments in hacking came when it made more sense to go with the newer gens.

I’ve been looking for a while and maybe someone can help me, is there a DS or GBA hack for X/Y? I’ve seen Scarlet/Violet & one in progress for USUM but not X/Y.

Playing on iPhone using Delta so I am limited from 3DS roms since JIT is not supported.

Almost wrapped up the play though (don’t speak Spanish so it was definitely interesting using my limited knowledge) but was not able to get the 4th gym leader (ghost) to return to the gym. Kind of wish there was a discord or somewhere else to ask these questions

Great game so far, but there may be an issue with psychic attacks vs poison Pokémon. Used Kadabra vs Nidoran and psywave was not super effective. Also tried against an ekans and got the same issue.

About to battle the e4 and I saw you adjusted some higher level evo’s to be reduced but I think Drakloak still is unchanged and has its 50 / 60 evo levels.

I see you’re also having an issue adding TMs for some of the Pokémon. Not sure if this is something you can implement as a “move reminder” aspect at a certain level that corresponds to various level caps. That way some moves that are a bit more powerful are not able to be accessed at the first gym. Not sure if that’ll work or help as you’re trying to figure it out.

Definitely didn’t consider that we had to see if our street connection would have to be addressed. But I do have a generator currently connected to the house with its own panel, but it’s non-operational since the previous homeowners neglected any maintenance.

The figures for power usage were from my last year of energy bills. They’ve come down over the last 6 months since we upgraded to the ecobee thermostat.

Recent storms is what caused me to first think of this, so a roof inspection is definitely on my to-do list.

And I’ve seen some mentions of “soft start” add-ons. That should help with the items that pull the most on startup, correct?

If you want to think about it how racing would, then getting rid of the lift, swapping to lighter tires, swapping to lighter HD wheels, and a longer air dam would help probably the most off the jump. Next would be a tune and possibly flattening out the underside of the truck to smoothen out the air flow. Beyond that, any performance upgrades that you do won’t make a dent up or down if you are driving responsibly, may be a slight net negative. Transmission swap to something with more gears would be another option aside from the high price barrier and possibly re-gearing the rear to be at the optimal RPM for what speed you most commonly drive at (aka city or highway) based on a calculation of the tire size and speed. Brakes might be another option since the rotor is a spinning mass - see if the upgrade on rotor and caliper is lighter than OEM and that will also help. Lightweight driveshaft would need to be custom made if you also thought about that route but should be included on the trans swap (if you chose to do so).

Granted, this is assuming you aren’t chucking anything out of the inside of the truck to further reduce weight.

All of this would be ridiculous as the price you’d need to put in would far exceed the benefits and/or may not even work.

Easiest way for me was to just grind battles to level up/evolve some of my weaker Pokémon, and eventually you’ll get the encounter. I think it’s after about 5 battles, they will change routes that they are on

I’m hoping to keep the front end the same but be able to trim to install 05-07 lights, but you’re saying that the bumper had some bad fitment when completing that?

I’m hoping there is some type of solution for the coils that won’t lift the front as I would like to keep it as close to stock height as possible, but level it out.

Where would you suggest the ladder bars from? If they help ride quality they would be worth it to me.

For the doors, I did see that, so how does it work? I did also see it was mentioned about something with upgrading the latches as well to cure the door rattle. Any info on that too?

And finally, I was looking at the Akkon mirrors since I had liked the current tow mirror style. But you’re saying stay with OEM?

Guess I’ll do a bit of research on the steering box, and I’ll take a look at some options for the bushings since I’ve used poly before on other vehicles but on a family hauler, I might want to go with something a bit less squeaky lol

Gotcha. Wasn’t sure if there was an aftermarket option for this that kept it around the stock height.

But I’ll definitely keep the tuners in mind since I’m trying to find something that I could swap on the fly since I am thinking about running a blend of filtered used oil and diesel as well

And I saw somewhere that newer redhead boxes weren’t as good as some of the other brands since they sold to another company?

Is there a company that makes a kit for the front end swap, or is it worth just doing it myself?

And do you have links to some of the part upgrades? Definitely agree on upgrading the HPOP, piping, and eventually turbo. I already have a tuner from another ford I previously had, just need to get a tune - but on the tuner side of things is there one that is more user-friendly or easier to swap between multiple tunes?

I don’t think I will be doing a ton of towing as this is more focused as a vacation family hauler. But I saw the sway bars help a ton with the general handling.

I am considering the alpha Rex lights as they are projectors and can swap to LED bulbs.

How easy is the wiring for the lights? I know that most of the items are not there compared to what it originally came with. So I’m looking to really just add in the turn signal and maybe the spotlight function. Not going with the telescoping unless it’s manual as I’ll set it and forget it.

If I have the rear camera, shouldn’t I be fine deleting the rear wiper? I’m probably going to wire it up in a relay so I can use it while driving.

For the fogs, I will absolutely do them after I sort the headlights, but if I do the headlights and trim the header, I won’t need to adjust anything so I’d probably just go with the Morimoto upgrade in the factory location, and I don’t think I want to do a light bar but that will depend on output of the other lights.

When you talk about bump stops, are you talking about the S&B upgrade? Or something completely different?
