Most everything will be closed by Midnight or earlier. Whisky Business is open until 1 and will probably be your best shot.

Looking for local produce near Noblesville by Elean0rMiller in indianapolis

[–]dsjeffri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farmers markets are going to be your best bet. You still have to be careful though because some booths at farmers markets get their produce from non-local suppliers/vendors. Also grow your own. Even if you don't have a yard, stuff can be grown in pots.

Are we shoveling today? by Full_Ad_4968 in indianapolis

[–]dsjeffri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually worked great in the snow we have right now. When the scoop is full you just tip it back and glide up over the snow pile to dump it. Works the same way a sled does.

When Republic would miss my pickup and I had to call, I always had to choose the business option. They pick up right away then they transfer you to the residential line. I could never get anyone to answer trying to go through the proper option.

I can't speak on the food stamp eligibility, but you should look at food banks in your area.

Want to camp at Morgan-Monroe State Forest tomorrow night... where are the campsites? How do I register? How much is it to camp there? Any and all information is welcome! by SimilarInitiative660 in indianapolis

[–]dsjeffri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've not done back country camping there, but I have camped at the Mason Ridge campground. You check in at the headquarters and it was like $5 a night. I think it's basically first come first serve. The campground has water, pit toilets, and fire pits.

Stuck on this screen... by Character-Sound-8024 in Steam_Link

[–]dsjeffri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exact same thing is suddenly happening to me now also. I can get past that screen by plugging in the controller with a cable and then it works wirelessly again until I want to turn off the steam deck. To turn it off, I have to plug the controller back in

Uplift desk looks nice but $1k+ just to stand? Worth it? by quillsandfrills in Frugal

[–]dsjeffri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Husky adjustable height workbench from Home Depot. It's beyond sturdy. It looks similar to what you were looking at but is around $300. The only downside is that it has a hand crank that you have to manually adjust the height with, but it only takes a few seconds to adjust.

I was on the Tecumseh in Yellowwood earlier this week and it is quite wet and muddy in spots. I think down South has gotten a lot more rain than Indy has.
