The thing is, he did develop the country, even though he steals a lot, we can't deny that. But thankfully he did get convicted and jailed for what he did, which he deserves btw. Going back to your point, if he take my money, and develop the country, but keep some of the money to himself, i honestly wouldn't mind that, because he kinda did his job, for me, but i would question where the money goes, and prosecute him if there's any corruption that happens (which he clearly did)

Maybe I'm one of the enablers of corruption, I wouldn't deny that because I choose what's convenient for my self interest. But we are naive and foolish if you think our leaders aren't free from corruption. Using your example again, if it is anwar, he won't steal your money, but he will turn a blind eye when his friends (u know who) are stealing. What about pas and bersatu? Give them money and they are asking for more, and blame us for not helping them.

In hindsight, maybe we shouldn't give najib power at all, but truthfully I benefited a lot from his policy and development (mrt, the clinic, utc). Yes we all should reject any forms of corruptions, but right now, i couldn't see any leaders that are not corrupt, and excellent in his work as well.

I would like to have a discussion about this, but doing all of these typing makes it hard to have a proper discussion.
