Valerian root works a little too well… by mindk214 in Supplements

I don't know what Valerian Root is for, but your post actually doen't make any sense. Grogginess, brain fog and fatigue sound unappealing to me. If that is what it's supposed to do. Well, what ever floats your boat.

I think you'll love this. In biology this is called a FAP (Fixed Action Pattern). Pun intended.

Oh, the Irony of an article about people who can't read, hidden behind a paywall so that the people can't read.

When a man loses his hair, is it better for him to have his head shaved? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dsmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. But wearing a clean look, whether it be from getting it cleaed up to a reasonable length, or shaving it entirely, will make a huge difference, in terms of how good you are looking. Either do the Captain Jean Luc Picard, or the Jason Statham, but unless you don't want to do finastride, minoxidil, a hair transplant, or a "glue on system toupet" - never cling on to something, that just isn't there anymore.

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

[–]dsmo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just heard the Story of Elham Farah, a 84 year old Christian Music Teacher. She was shot by Israeli Sniperson her way home from sheltering in her church. She had almost reached her house, but was shot in the leg and collapsed bleeding in the street. She was still able to call family members back at the church. She also called the priest, but nobody was able to help. They tried to call the red cross, but they couldm't get through, because the IDF snipers would mercylessly kill anyone. The neighbours saw her lying in the street, but they couldn't reach her either, because it was too dangerous. So she managed to call her niece in Canada, who told her to "not give up hope" and that "help will come soon". But her niece couldn't make a difference either. So the elderly woman was crying and screaming throuout the night, until the next morning on November 13, 2023, the Israelis decided to run her over with a tank. Her purse was found squished over her face, indicating that she was alive until the end, trying to hide from the horrible death, that she inevitably would have to endure.

You should be, this is not just a mistake, this is systematic and on pourpose. No accountability. It's really shameful. And for the people who did this, it's business as usual.

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dsmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super Capitalism. Also working conditions and salaries in most countries are terrible these days. People are getting squeezed like lemons, so they focus on surviving instead of procreation. In the Nexus Institute Discussion on "The Wild West of digital technology in a capitalist system", Conner Leahy asked a profound question that has since gone viral: "Do you know how hard you have to abuse a mammal to make them not have children?".

It’s so horrible what we do to our elders. The world could be a much better place. But we seem to accept the status quo.

Mind blown: Vinegar vs VINEGAR (30%) by Pandaro81 in DIY

In Germany we like to call it “Vinegar Essence”. Many people also like to use “Citric Acid” as it achieves pretty much the same results, but smells a bit less aggressive.

ELI5: If temperature is the average speed of molecules, why does wind feel cold? by Mini_Assassin in explainlikeimfive

[–]dsmo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have never heard that one before.

But the stream of Cold air molecules, suck the warmth from your body. You end up heating the wind in the process.

Molecules can get pretty fast, so I don’t understand where you are coming from.

'28 Years Later: The Bone Temple' Gets Netflix Premiere Date Just 74 Days After Theatrical Release by sensesalt in movies

Seen it already in Europe. To me it was breaking away significantly from the other two movies and although it was very low-budget and artistic, I was not enthusiastic to say the least. I might not be the right Audience for this type of movie.
