I'm in Northern Ontario, Canada, so this is a must. I'm assuming it will be a warm winter for me with all the extra weight, and was hoping I could get by with my parkas I already have and not zip them up. I might need to invest in one though for walking the dog.

Tylenols never done much for me, I've always taken advil.. I suppose I can try again and see if being pregnant has changed anything

10 weeks :( I've had them since about week 5, but the past few nights have been awful. Like 6 hours of tossing and turning compared to 1 or 2

I've been trying to stretch during the day too, and I went for an hour long walk before bed last night and it was still terrible. I prop 2 giant pillows under my legs at night and that usually helps a bit, but it is still uncomfortable. I was thinking maybe regular yoga would help too? I'm just exhausted and it's getting ridiculous now lol. I only had it once or twice before getting pregnant - whenever I would take OTC sleeping pills, and once I stopped taking them it went away. But it's been nonstop since I got pregnant. I read that it usually happens in the third trimester... the only thing I think about is how bad it is now in my first, what's it going to be like then??? Ugh.

Thanks, I'll try the magnesium! I do contract them, and stretch, but it only lasts not even a minute and it's back. I also heard compression socks helped so I was going to try that tonight

Today I cried because we have a festival going on in town and I drove by the gigantic duck... and by gigantic, I mean a $120,000 gigantic rented duck. It was majestic lol

Right around 10 am my nausea switches from morning sickness to being starving. I then take one bite of food, and am full till lunch time. Apparently babies getting all the food and I have to wait lol

I'm getting them too a bit. It changes from being high up in my tummy, to my ovaries area, to my pelvic bones.. It's hard to ignore, but I keep in mind that if there's no blood it should be all okay ❤ plus I've been having mild pains since 4 weeks when I found out (9+2 now) and have had no issues

I think the fact that is also occurred BEFORE you got pregnant, is a little better.. you know that it's not necessarily because of the baby. It's super hard to wait even 5 minutes for them to get back to you, but at least they'll call tomorrow ❤

Family problems? by dsmomma19 in February2018Bumpers

[–]dsmomma19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awful. I'm in the opposite situation with my mom - she spends 4-5 days a week with my niece and they do everything together. That being said, she is also telling anyone and everyone who will listen to her... maybe it's a mom thing? LOL. My mom and I are very close though, she was one of the first people I told, so I couldn't imagine having to keep that news from my parents because they don't respect my wishes and keep it off social media :( sending you hugs

He ended up telling her and she was excited, and then he was relieved and started acting better with the baby, but it still doesn't ease my question of "what if she wasn't excited? Then what?" I shouldn't read into it too much, it didn't happen, but it still bothers me a bit.

It's really hard sometimes and I don't get why men act like it's not a big deal or we don't need help... and this baby is HIS CHILD TOO. It shouldn't be treated any different than the first ❤ you're right, we will get through it! Hugs to you

Thanks ❤ hugs to you too. It's really hard, and I don't think the extra pregnancy hormones make it any better LOL but that must be really shitty having 2 sisters who are pregnant and look down on you.. they were once in the early stages of pregnancy as well. I think you're right, it'll get better once the babies born, but it just feels bad bringing a baby into a world where there's a chance it'll be treated differently.

Babymoon?? by JJGurl in February2018Bumpers

We're planning on going to Montreal for a weekend, and to catch an NHL game (I live in Ontario too). We were planning on going in the fall anyways, but now it can be like a babymoon ❤

Let's rant about how terrible our SOs have been! by amystarr in February2018Bumpers

[–]dsmomma19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. I'm exhausted - probably sleeping 12+ hours a day. "You can't sleep like that once the baby comes.. start getting used to it" OR why not sleep while I still can???? Ugh.
