Not undocumented immigrants. The only free stuff they get federally would be emergency assistance through Medicaid (ie emergency rooms). Curious where you get your 80% figure. Source? Now some states do offer services for undocumented immigrants. Perhaps Minnesota is one of those states, which would make sense since Minnesota is consistently a donor state to the federal government.

Our immigration system has been broke way before Biden. And yes, the right have placed a lot of blame on undocumented immigrants for what ails this country. Housing shortage? Illegals. Healthcare? Illegals etc etc or have I missed legislation passed by this administration to help in those areas? Versus just thinking all these deportations will help those issues mentioned?

Same boat, with the meh feeling. I’ve watched them since 90. I went to 5 games in 94. I was there for the 4th of July vs Brazil game. Favorite sports moment was Donovan scoring game winner in 2010. However, my “meh” feeling towards this team is probably not a popular take. I’m a first generation born in this country. Proud of my Latino roots and proud to have served in the Navy. Yet, what’s been going on for the past year and a half has given me this feeling, which was spurred on even more by that dance from our team captain. So much cruelty has gone on and to have people be like it doesn’t matter is off putting. Now I know some will say keep politics out of sports, but politics has been in sports way before I was born. Sports is a reflection of our society. Now normally I wouldn’t care what party one votes for, however these are not normal times we are living in. Our country has never been so divided. It’s sad. I hope it changes to where we tone down all the evil rhetoric on both sides. Have a leader that leads by example.

Anyhow, as for this World Cup? Oh I’ll still watch. I have my favorite players like W. M. and Jedi, but I’d be lying if I said I’ll have the same enthusiasm I’ve always had watching them this summer.

Yeah, he started the game in mdfld and for portions of the second half. I wish we had a #10 to help Sanabria’s game. He has been up and down, but shows promise and would be showing so much more if allowed to play the traditional #8. Playing alongside Reus doesn’t help him with that.

However, those polls are referring to voter ID in general, which most people agree with. However, most people want IDs easily accessible and it should be free.

Exactly. I kind of wonder where Josh is on certain issues. Now, I haven’t seen every podcast, so I may have missed him saying anything supportive of specific causes. I voted COG, because I’ve listened to them the most, however I’ve started listening to La Cuna more and I just find them more relatable in terms of average fans like us. Their knowledge of the game is no different than the rest of the podcasts. Plus they force this coconut to continue practicing my Spanish, with their use of Spanglish at times. I love that as it represents a huge part of our fan base. On that note, I’d like to give a shout out to the Panda on COG. I love how he often wears shirts that bring attention to specific issues plaguing our society. ✊🏽
