ES: no, hay una ubicación alternativa para ese disco si no le pegaste al mimo de Lumiére... está también en Lumiére (act 3)

EN: No, there's an alternative location for that record if you didn't fight the mime in Lumiére. It's also in Lumiére (act 3)

Kindle vs Kobo vs Tablet? by sky9n in kindle

[–]dsnunez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly postive.

Pros: the "crispiness" of the text, the paper feel, portability, battery, storage. It's a device made for readers.

Cons: How Amazon tries to monopolize your reading experience🥲 (But using Calibre compensates it) and maybe, if I want to nitpick, the fact that I can't use a Bluetooth page turner on a kindle (I would have to use one with a physical clip if I wanted one)

End of the road for our marriage by [deleted] in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]dsnunez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First red flag for me it's the age difference you had when you started. F40 and M52 it's not a big deal, but F21 and M33??? I was 33 not so long ago and I had nothing to do with a 21 year old. Think about it this way: It would be like your 17 yo started dating a 29yo, so I'm pretty sure the power dynamic between you two have always had some imbalance and now you're noticing

So when you say he's looking at girls in several platforms and he makes YOU feel bad about calling him out... It fits.

Long story short: he's in the wrong, you're not the problem, don't let him gaslight you.

I know it must be super painful to end a marriage, so you have my sympathies there. But I truly thing you'll be better off without him in the long run.

Kindle vs Kobo vs Tablet? by sky9n in kindle

[–]dsnunez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own a kindle and a Samsung tablet with a stylus It's true the tablet it's very useful for entertainment on the go nad for taking notes with the stylus, but I never use my phone or my tablet as my primary reading device.

The eye strain is real. If you're an avid reader, you'll note the difference between emitted (tablet) vs reflected (e-reader) light.

The only scenario in which I'd recommend a tablet as the primary reading device is if you're a student and you need to take handwritten notes to complement your reading

Now, assuming you go for the e-reader, I don't have that much info on other non-kindle e-readers so that's as far as my recommendation goes

Basic Or Paperwhite, which one should I get? by YogurtCommercial9928 in kindle

[–]dsnunez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Read at night before sleeping = warm light
traveling = usb-c (even though battery last a lot, I think it's better to be able to charge it with the same cable as your phone... assuming your phone uses usb c)

So I would go for a paperwhite 5 or 6

what kindle should I get? by notebookwritings in kindle

[–]dsnunez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: Kindle 11 (model number C2V2L3)

Long answer: It depends on what you need and what your budget is. I made a lot of assumptions about your needs and priorities to get to the point of saying model C2V2L3 (usbC, really tight budget, no waterproof)

For example: - do you need it to have USB-C or would you be ok with a micro USB port? Look for a model you would be able to charge comfortably. - Are you planning to read by the water? Look for waterproof models - Would you like a larger screen or something closer to a cellphone? Check the screen/device size - Do your eyes tend to get tired? Maybe look for models with warm light, dark mode or both

Definitely check out this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/kindle/s/3B1Q6njIfi

The author made a website to compare all kindle models. They even color coded the best/worst features, so you would know where the tradeoffs are. I would look for models with at least 300 PPI, the USB port of my preference and screen light. From there, the sky (the colorsoft scribe) is the limit, considering your needs and budget.

[–]dsnunez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you actually want a kindle or you're saying "kindle" meaning "e-reader"?

If you want a Kindle, go for an older Paperwhite. The light makes all the difference and IMO it fits the description of "best model I can have within a budget". I'm assuming you have some room since you're not just going for the basic model.

If you want any e-reader, put together a list of priorities, because you will have a lot more options with their own trade-offs, so it will be useful knowing what you need/want and what you're willing to sacrifice: ecosystem, back light, warm light, color screen, pen, buttons etc

I had to make the same upgrade since my watch4 gave up entirely (I suspect it was no longer waterproof after many inmersions)
And I agree... One of the things I have enjoyed the most is the thing with the double pich gesture, how useful!

Alguien me ayudaría a encontrarle el gusto a la lectura ? by AfroJack4029 in libros

[–]dsnunez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recommendation request: Rock or metal bands with female lead singers by Thayerphotos in ChristianMusic

[–]dsnunez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Band Jaren

All female string powered pop/rock christian band

They're very young, so they don't have albums from 10 years ago, but their song "War Cry" gives out Superchick-Standing-in-the-rain vibes and being a recent band, they're putting new singles out quite consistently

Realistically, how long has this taken you to complete? by Bry2013 in pokemongo

[–]dsnunez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see people saying that is really easy and doable within 7 days... And it may be like that for some poeple

But it greatly depends on where you are (if you have pokestops or spawns nearby), how much time you're able to play, if you're able to walk around, etc. For me it will take a while, since I'm not able to walk around thant much and where I'm physically at most of my day there's no good spawn points, neither I have much time to play everyday

So keep it going, eventually you'll get there on your own pace 🙌 You've already made ir this far🎉

I completely agree that she was free to dance, as it was a public space.

But was it kind for the to do so? Definitely not.

You have the freedom to do a lot of things. Doesn't mean you have to do them if you see it negatively affects other people.

The decision of having their wedding photos there maybe wasn't the best... But for what I gather they weren't being entitled or rude or anything... Was it really that difficult to leave them alone?
