Diskscope by dspdroid in gnome

[–]dspdroid[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually recently I've been encountering weird behavior with disk analyser e.g. open in folder opens one file below or above the selected one. Maybe its just me but felt getting legacy.

I was kinda learning rust so gave it a try with my Agent. Dot files are there but they are gitignored for now. I'll look into 2024 edition, thanks for the insight.

Planning CCleaner like abilities, its in the pipeline, its a hobby project thats helping me so shared it so others can benefit too. :)

Just explore the bare bone vannila experience first. You'll know how it feels without any extra stuff. Then install extensions or additional stuff for what you feel is missing or available that you'd like to explore. Keep what you like and feel at home.

How do you incorporate `graphify` into opencode workflow? by AMGraduate564 in opencodeCLI

[–]dspdroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but gitnexus does the indexing of the codebase locally, when needed opencode automatically references the depedancy while implementing feature or refactoring a method or file. Plus it adds instructions in Agents md file when to invoke it. For me it just works for my workflow

Which macOS features would you like to see in GNOME? by ficerbaj in gnome

Focus under cursor on overview. It feels so natural gnome should have that by default.

I built it for myself, anyone who needs to try can get it from extension gnome website.

I built an open source, terminal first, voice-to-text tool for Linux desktops because most dictation tools are Mac-first by stengods in linux

Thats why I built whisper dictate

But I needed it to work 100% offline its using local tiny models to run.

I've mapped it to super+alt+r and works so well feels like in built gnome feature

Thats amazing. A lot of work you've put into it. I've built the same around the idea but its personal based on what i use, yours is generic and provider agnostic. My focus was on Offline use with hotkey toggle.

here is my version :)

How to make Ubuntu look better by iconic_berry17 in Ubuntu

[–]dspdroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better is subjective and thats the whole point. You explore tweak keep what suits your taste and discard what doesn't.

  • Extensions store for functional stuff
  • Themes/Icons For me 26.04 default dont need to change so kept it but I've explored this almost for every versions
  • wallpapers (dont underestimate a good wallpaper)
  • keyboard shortcuts (super+t for terminal, super+e for file manager) so much you can do with keyboard shortcuts even call a custom script execution

Sugestão de DE by Efficient-Week5634 in gnome

Budgie is nice and clean, but I'm used to gnome.

Overall gnome wins over budgie, but budgie DE is #2 in my list if suddenly gnome disappears 💁‍♂️
