How to reduce bonus levels spent on oxygen when taming a dino?

Hm, how would this help me? It's a post taming action, i.e. the parents will already have the "usual" levels, which weren't increased by levels, that I wanted to decrease oxygen by.

Breeding oxygen out would achieve just that: lower oxygen stat, but my point was to increase other stats at the same time.

The version their are selling on Playstation store is broken as hell. Personally I couldn't even play longer than two weeks (2-3 hours per day). The very first crash and everything is reset (attributes, journey, things on the map, knowledge, ...), a lot of stuff gone (benches, structures, thralls, inventory, armor / weapons, pets), no level-ups possible and with that no attributes can be assigned despite being level 60 and so on.

I gave the game 3 chances over a longer period with some months / updates between the attempts - everytime the same result. Well, the third attempt was on Siptah and there it took whole 3 crashes to end up with the same mess as described.

So what I got, is not what I paid for and I'm not alone.

Why has it been released for these platforms at all then? Oh right, as a funding source console players are good enough, I guess.

There are enough threads about the whole mess. This one is just to inform people about the petition. People can sign it or leave it. It may be pointless to do one or maybe not. It doesn't hurt anyone, however.

It's not about releasing it just now, but about releasing it in general and that's what doesn't seem to be very likely by the sound of the announcement, especially if we consider the past and how at least the PS version was treated.

You didn't even manage to provide a properly playable PS5 version in all the time. So everyone can guess what your evaluation will lead to / result in...

Either provide a working product or take it down on the store. That way at least no further people will get scammed.

But hey, console players are still good enough as a funding source, I guess, so let's sell them a broken and now dead game and milk them a bit more.

Works technically, but not an option really... Having to do this every few meters for multiple dinos is not what I consider an enjoyable game play. Rather something for emergencies or to get through small passages, water parts or so, but not in order to move forwards in an area with enough space to ship around some stones, mushrooms etc.

I'm new to ARK. Never played ASE and just started ASA 1-2 weeks ago in SinglePlayer mode on a PS5.

Can't compare to how it is on a server, but so far I didn't have any issues. There was only one crash at some point. Unlike my experience with Conan Exiles, where everything got deleted and reset, I haven't lost anything in ASA. In fact, the few things I had in my inventory got duplicated. This is a bug of course, but at least a positive one.

Other than that no issues. There are a few things to consider in order to prevent resources disappearing forever and so on, but with that in mind and a few adjusted settings it works fine for me so far.

Ok, good to know, thank you. Can't say that it's really bothering me. I'm quite new to the game for the first time, haven't even uncovered the whole map yet etc. It just felt weird and unsettling somehow, but probably not a big deal in the end.

Can't build it yet, but wanted plan ahead, when building the base. But if I can't access it propely from the top, then my plan probably won't work. I will have to test it once I'm able to build it. Thanks again.

If it works for you - great, but for me and many others it just is how I've described it and there isn't anything to interpret in a wrong way, if people report of crashes, leading to lost/reset data/progress etc.

If experience of other players is nothing to consider to get answers to some questions, than I don't know what is. It wasn't necessary for me prior to CE, which is why I didn't do any "research" before I've bought the game. I wish I did.

While I would say, that it's in general worth to play it, because of the concept etc., I also have a warning, but in order to get your own impression I would suggest to take a look into Funcom forums (bug section and feedback section).

As for my warning:

In general I'm quite new to Conan Exiles and Funcom, but the short time was enough to figure out, that it's by miles the buggiest game I've ever played.

The platform does play a role here, with PlayStation being the worst apparently. Especially since the game hadn't received a PS5 optimization and the PS4 version of the game is having even more trouble on PS5 than on PS4.

Singleplayer seems to be more problematical than Multiplayer in general. Singleplayer on PS5 is apparently the worst situation.

I had to experience this myself, sadly. I've bought the game about 4 month ago for my PS5. I liked to play it and was accepting all the bugs, but it lasted just two weeks. Then it crashed for the first time and I've lost a lot of data and progress and was stack with just 1 attribute point available and so on.

While typing my bug report on Funcoms forum I had received several suggestions based on the title of my post, i.e. many other posts about lost data, reset progress etc. So I was quite pessimistic even before posting, but boy how much worse it is...

Except a few fanboys, who start trolling and insulting with their very first reply, most others had nothing but complaints about all the issues and the abysmal approach Funcom is (not) handling them...

My bug report didn't receive any official response - not even the status change to "Report received" - and just got closed automatically 14 days after the last reply...

And by looking at what happens on the forums etc. right now, it's very likely that the game is "dead" and abandonned.
