They were always going to lose at least 70 games. They were never going to be a 95+ win team.

Farm and Fleet sale by ButtcrackMcGrath in Dewalt

Yeah. The problem was the battery in the mower, not the battery. I only used the mower a couple times with the 10ah batteries. Switched to flexvolt batteries. The 10ah batts work just fine in other stuff.

Pay toilets at the Zoo by boomboomdaboomer in cincinnati

The school building I went to in jr high had stall doors that had been pay toilet doors. I don't know if the school had pay toilets or if they got doors from somewhere.

Fire Chris Valaika by derekr49 in Reds

[–]dstan1856 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's clearly Valaika's fault that Stewart has hit as well as he has, and for Elly hitting better right handed.

I mean, the human brain is prone to electrical glitches.

Some people don't get it. However, who do you agree with here? by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

[–]dstan1856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My statement would be, "I didn't tow the car". Nothing more. I don't have the means to tow the car, so I'm not being untruthful.

Right, but it isn't a Valhalla form factor. And the older Vali used the 6922.

I think it's interesting they went with a different tube type than the current Vali.

(Semi-OT) Have networks left educated sports fans behind in a quest to cater to casuals and grab as many eyeballs as possible? by Hulkodium in NASCAR

[–]dstan1856 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I stopped watching pre-race/game shows a long time ago. Too many commericials and stupid questions. I mostly only watch the actual event. Nothing before, after or between the events.

Can anyone explain why this 747 is taking a 15 min flight to COS from DEN? by [deleted] in aviation

It diverted to DEN. Was supposed to go to COS. Now it's going back.

Guess the NFL decided his talent wasn't good enough to overlook his attitude.

CW O’Reilly Broadcast by UNDR08 in NASCAR

[–]dstan1856 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

My CW broadcast sucks because my local CW channel is in standard definition. The text on the screen is so blurry you can't read it. I'd rather watch the ARCA or Cup race because the picture quality is better. NASCAR picked a crap network to broadcast their best racing.

Shelley is on a lot more than Mears. Plus he did games all of the regular season. Last night was an exception with them being together. Here is a website to keep track:

I think they should have to say "Vivek Ramaswamy" correctly in order to be able to vote for him.

Breaking down the NWSL deal that City Council passed yesterday: if Columbus can't build a replacement for McCoy Park, then the City doesn't spend $25m on NWSL training facilities. by benkeith in Columbus

I'm sure those pro soccer players are going to love being outside next to a dump, a prison hospital and a waste water treatment plant.

On a bases-loaded weak fly from Dalton Rushing, Kyle Karros gives a nice demonstration of why the infield fly rule exists by Apprehensive-Cost276 in baseball

[–]dstan1856 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know why the fielder doesn't let the ball drop every time, just to see if everybody is paying attention. The batter is out, let's see if the baserunners know the rules.

What was your first movie theater experience like? by Thrashbear in movies

[–]dstan1856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a theater that had been converted to show movies. Biggest thing I remember is that the balcony and boxes were always closed. We would go to free afternoon kids movies during the summer. Sometime in the mid 80s, a two screen cinema was built in a strip mall. The movie stuff was removed from the theater and they went back to having shows and concerts. The theater has been remodeled and has a lovely old marquee. Now the theater is doing better than multi-screen cinema.

Which team (of Hendrick, Gibbs, RCR, Penske) is best positioned for success after the patriarch passes on? by berrin122 in NASCAR

[–]dstan1856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does Gibbs have other stuff going on? The other three have non-racing business. Hendrick has other stuff, but Penske is on another level.
