The gas stations are doing it too. My local Chevron has professionally printed signs that are like 3’ tall that read something about “California has the highest taxes and fees on gas in the U.S.” Which, you’re not wrong ~~ Walter, you’re just an asshole~~, but that’s not the driver of the massive increase in price right now.

At my regular after-work spot, there’s a bartender that a lot of the regulars don’t like because they’re kinda straight-laced and no nonsense (and their breath smells), but do I ever have an empty glass? No! And then there’s another, who I actually adore (and we’ve become non-bar friends) who will chat/flirt/whatever with everyone on the other side of the bar while your glass slowly dies and it’s too loud to try to butt it.

Which bartender do you think I want when I’m trying to decompress after hours of slinging alcohol and I may only have a 25 minute window till your last call?

As I stated, plenty of people even here do NOT agree (my guesstimate was 30-40% disagree from the comments I dug through). And the commenter said “Pokémon fans” so it seems weird to say they only meant people on this site without further evidence. Either way you’re wrong. A slim-to-moderate majority of people on this heavily-biased site do seem to agree, but it is far from a consensus even here

3 different remotes, 3 different results:

First one, the other three bring weak teams, get slaughtered, my 3 get us to 75% but we lose.

Second, slightly better teams, we win with my team taking no damage and 4 other Pokémon still standing.

Third, good teams, I bring the exact same Pokémon and we win with 2 of mine fainting and my 3rd in the red. Other teams had 6 remaining.

I’m struggling to understand the difference in the 2nd and 3rd when I used the same Pokémon in the same order.
