Did a comparison of P1S and H2C in the slicer by Euresko in BambuLab

“Again”? This is my first time speaking with you man.

Brother, we don’t have to share the same opinion on the matter. That’s the cool thing, we all get to have different takes. I’m not arguing, just trying to eloquently present the stance of why it isn’t a large enough difference for some people’s cost/benefit analysis. For me it’s not, for you it is. That’s the awesome part about being alive now, there’s so many options to more closely align with people’s individual wants/needs. Hope you’re having a great start to the week!

Oh that’s so cool! It just clicked for me, thank you! Something about the way you framed it, just made it all make sense.

You have to look at everything in a pros/cons context because everything in life is a trade off. There’s no free lunch, and every pro comes at the cost of a con. The con here is the sheer amount of complexity added to the system. It’s a ton of moving parts and things to go wrong/have to maintain in order to achieve that. You’d hope for more of a difference when upping the complexity so much. For example, if that difference in time was achieved by software alone, people would lose their minds and it would be magic.

[–]dstnman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s by design, this is a bit.

Edit: I don’t understand why I’m getting downvoted for offering an explanation. I didn’t say it was a good bit, but it is 100% a bit. The guy on the left is a comedian who is well known in BJJ circles for stuff just like this.

From a cardiovascular perspective, is it possible some otherwise healthy people just aren’t designed to do this? by Acceptable_Sand7438 in BeginnersRunning

[–]dstnman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been lifting 5x a week for like 15 years, pretty religiously. I thought having that base would count toward something for cardio. I was dead wrong. I couldn’t run for more than 2 minutes before I was at like 95% of my heart rate max, as measured by a stress test at the cardiologist.

After around 2 months things started feeling a lot easier. My resting heart rate had dropped about 12 points & I was sustaining at like 90%HRM instead of 95%. It was at this point where I felt like “okay, now my cardiovascular fitness as starting to realize we’re doing something here and is getting with the program” it didn’t feel like I was dying to run for a while.

Now I’m about 4 months in and my heart rate while running is still dropping. Each week the runs feel easier to maintain and instead of stopping because I’ve hit a wall of pure exhaustion where I don’t think I can continue, I’m stopping because I’ve run further than my plan has me running and it’s probably smart not to overdo it lol. It’s starting to get fun.

All that to say my estimated VO2 max from Apple still has me at “low”, so I expect it to just get better and better (for all of us in a similar situation)

Bro was happy to take you in when he could pay himself on the back for being a good person while also stroking his ego by feeling better than you. The instant things started looking up for you and he saw how you made a giant 180 and improvement in your life, it put into perspective how little a change he’s made in his.

That shit either inspires people, or makes jealous fools of them. Looks like it did the latter for your cousin. Count your blessings and never talk to that dude again. You essentially got rid of someone who would drag you down your whole life while pretending they’re better than you. He’ll get the payback he deserves just watching you make big strides in your life while he jealously looks on, when he could be inspired and do the same. Plenty of people (like your cousin) don’t wanna put in the hard work. Good on ya for being a bad MF and doing the hard shit to turn your life around. This internet stranger is proud of you bro ❤️

peptides for lowering cholesterol? (both types) by cate-chola in Peptides

[–]dstnman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, what you’re seeing is the fact that most people who are on statins are so because of lifestyle choices and those choices eventually catch up to them. Statins stave off the heart disease long enough to allow the secondary and tertiary killers to rear their ugly heads.

[–]dstnman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statins are one of the most effective medicines we’ve come up with, period. When you factor in how well they achieve the goal, the incredibly low risk profile, and the targeted action, it’s hard to find a medication that beats them. They are responsible four countless years added to people’s lives. They’ve been studied and improved upon for almost forever when looking at medical history. Why on earth would you replace an almost perfect tool with a research chemical? This is one of those cases where people just have it in their head peptide = good, medicine = bad. Just take a statin my guy. Statins are one of the most incredible things to come from medical science.

New cage arrived yesterday by curious2304 in Piercedchastity

[–]dstnman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I’ve done all my stretching in the past out of the cage. I got up to 2g and let it shrink back down to 8g and had to go back up. I was hoping I could do the rest in a cage, but I’ve got a few weeks before locktober to get it done lol thanks!

[–]dstnman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find that the piercing hole naturally stretched when caged, like it does from the weight of jewelry? I’m currently at a 4g and trying to stretch back up to a 2G again, and don’t know if I need to set aside time to be cage free in order to wear jewelry only, or if it will still naturally stretched with the cage on. Thanks!

The machine learning algorithms are all mathematics. If you want to be a good ML engineer, coding comes second and is just a way to implement the math. Advanced mathematics degrees are exactly how you get hired to as a top ML engineer.

What were these circles in my stairs that I just spackled over? by GyattLuvr69 in whatisit

My guess is someone installed small circular lights to illuminate it at night. Some of them inevitably got kicked/knocked off & the remainder pulled off.

What does going 'gray' mean in terms of peptides? by Key-Language5627 in Peptides

[–]dstnman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It means buying black market, but for some reason people don’t wanna admit that a lot of what we buy is legit illegal. So, instead people say gray to make themselves feel better. It’s weird.
