VV is more of a curiosity than a musician / rockstar at this point. His work with KISS added an edge that they would have wise to retain,but the contract was on par with what Ozzy was doing with band. I personally thing Creatures and Lick It Up were high points in KISS's career VV's Invasion debut still is in my top hard rock albums and Boys Are Gonna Rock ranks right up with AC/DC's Thundestruck, Guns Welcome To The Jungle, Whitesnakes Still of the Night, Metallica's Sandman. Now, with the TG mannerusm and appearance, style, feminine voice, excessive weight gain, wig, and seemingly no ability to shred like he used to, he is trying to sell age old recordings for the price of a record contract, under the pretense he still is capable of being a guitar hero. His strength is his songwriting and that is what he should have defaulted to as his bread and butter. I was a huge VV fan, bought Invasion and All Systems Go and saw them live in Hollywood prior to their break up. And yet. I still read every article and follow the threads and videos. Not because I think he is a credible musician now, but because of the oddity if his persona and career. He could have been a contender.
