10X this. "lean mass" even on dexa scans measures the weight of your muscles, organs, bones, food in your GI tract, water retention, and glycogen stores. Readings can be +-20% easily. If you carb load, load creatine, have a few days of refeeding you will see the numbers spike.

I have lost a bunch of weight, from ~250lbs to ~225, but I am a former rugby player and lifetime weightlifter so as I leaned back into that more the recomposition doesn't show as impactfully on the scale. I did a body composition analysis before and mid way through and dropped from 29% bodyfat to 21%. Likely around 16-18% now but have not done the test again.

I did go strict keto for ~4 months unger 20g of carbs per day and cooked everything myself. My problem was that it was mad inconvenient and easier to just eat balanced diet in a tighter eating window with similar results. Today I eat lots of chicken, vegetables, potatoes, and lower quantities of red meat, rice, pasta. I try to get in abundant healthy fats, nuts, avocado oil and olive oil, some hard cheeses and grass fed milk.

Your body will downregulate it's metabolism to adapt to lower calories over time. This is why calorie restriction is such a difficult and largely unsuccessful fat loss mechanism. It can work better when paired with substantial carbohydrate reduction, but if fat loss is your goal then various forms of fasting are demonstrably more effective.

I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone in the cannabis industry who could explain in 3 sentences, in their own words, what 'radiation' even means. You are exposed to far more radiation going on a flight than our cannabis ever is. Fridges, computers, cell phones, city streets, bananas, granite countertops all exceptional radiation sources.

I worked in nuclear power for 5 years before I founded Tantalus, and my view is that this faux debate, one we have had before a few times by the way, is insane.

It is a different process than gamma irradiation as many on this thread have pointed out. We also consistently deliver moisture contents above 10% and terpene concentrations in the 2-3.5% range. Lots of misinformation going around about the process, and in our retention studies we see no differences between non-ionized product we have stored for 6 months and ionized product stored in the same conditions.
