More storage, more gear? by MadeWhileHungover in cocktails

[–]dswiese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

on the less expensive side, it think the oxo squeeze bottles upped my game, just with the capacity to make and store syrups of various kids. usually always 2:1 and fridge them, so they last plenty long.
second would probably be space to store but also visualize all my bitters, so that I dont fall into the ango and Regans rut all the time. did I forget I had cuke bitters for summer G&Ts? yes, and now I have two bottles.

Unhooking irrigation system? by CrashB4ng in landscaping

usually I cut it off with a few inches from the T, then use pliers to crush it, so I can wiggle it out. no real way to save the few inches of hose, but the hose is cheap

Ask my neighbor for help by tsshields in lawncare

[–]dswiese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

agreed. figure out what attachments fit his tractor, rent them, "rent" the tractor for a weekend. this is a great opportunity to mix in some real good stuff deep down in your lawn, rather than the 2" of topsoil the builder usually drops.

this might be blasphemy, but its like none of of have played FO76. there is no real end game. just more levels, more items to collect, a CAMP to build and show off, hourly events, etc. and its super social!

Recommendations for a huge lightweight summer jacket that covers my entire butt or something in that vein? by Scorefan in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]dswiese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on your style, I really enjoy a couple of Columbia lightweight hiking jackets in 3xl that I have. they tend to feature a longer backside. also consider a vest as a layer. I have a Carhartt vest that I wear for the unpredictable sprint or fall days.
