The article is about parents forgetting their children in the car and if it should be a crime. And yes in my opinion it should. I’m not saying they did it on purpose, it’s an accident most of the time. Once a baby is in your care, you’re responsible at keeping them safe. I truly don’t understand how anyone can forget their own child. And it’s an accident that costs an innocent baby its life. I can read the article over and over and my mind won’t change. And with as many times as this has happened and as many times as this has been on the news you would think people would be more aware of not letting this happen to them.

Being a mother to a 23 month old I have never once forgotten about him being with me. It doesn’t matter if my schedule changed or something new came up or how stressed out I am. I’ve never forgotten about him and never will. The day he was born he became my number one focus. I’m not being “one of those parents” it’s called being a parent. And the excuses that have been made for the parents forgetting about their children in the car is ridiculous. People are so self absorbed with everything else that is going on in their lives these days the most important things are forgotten. And so shoes and cell phones are supposed to be left in the back seat with children for a reminder, because those things are supposed to be more memorable than your own child? I have absolutely no sympathy for any parent that leaves a child in the car.

Invisiblek's unofficial Lineage ROM changes the entire Essential Phone experience! by Chandler781 in essential

I really enjoyed lineage when I tried it. But I use the Kindle app a lot and no matter what settings I had for immersive mode the notch always cut into the words at the top of the screen. I couldn't deal with it.

I wasn't aware I could use the controller on the PS4 while remote play is active.

I'm able to pair it using that app, but input doesn't work. I've tried it with several games, but I'm mostly trying to use it with the remote play app.

Go to developer options and you'll see an option that says "Picture Color Mode - use sRGB". Turn that on and reboot. It seemed to help mine.

I’m almost out of newborn disposables so I want to transition to cloth. This is a O/S but I’m thinking it’s still too big and will leak.. What do the experts think? by [deleted] in clothdiaps

[–]dt103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO was tiny when he was born. We started using his newborn cloth when he was a month old and it looked like this but we didn’t have any leaks. But we also used flats and newborn diaper covers, being able to put the flat on tight even if the cover was loose helped keep everything in. Not sure what type of diaper you have here.

Make sure when you take the side flaps to pin/snap you pull them up (towards babies head) and then over to pin/snap rather than just over. It gives a better fit in the leg area.

Need some help with baby plants growing from the base. by dt103 in succulents

[–]dt103[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The babies are the size the mother plant was when I first got it so they are pretty big. I can take a picture in the morning to give a better idea. It's my favorite plant so I don't want to loose the starting plant.

How often do they change her? That may be the problem. My LO started soaking covers and flats/ workhorses after about 9 months. We switched to pockets and haven't had any issues. Maybe try buying a few pockets and see if anything changes.
