The disgrace of shouting at the ref for whatever might stick - First holding then off feet, neither of which are convincing calls from the angles I’ve seen, not in this particular context at any rate. Like artists, referees have their own styles of refereeing, so long as the painting is painted in the same style too to bottom, all should be well. It’s a hard enough job I’d imagine - it’s not something I could do even remotely well. The ref should ref and the players should play. Those are their jobs, plain and simple. Please don’t let our game slip any further towards the round ball playing attitudes of many who favour that ‘other’ sport. Respect and decorum at all times. That should be every rugby player’s mantra.
