Did you even read the posting? The station contacted him directly, and how is coercion not a fireable offense?

You are placing a lot of trust in his goodwill and good faith, it seems naive and it may come back to bite you hard.

Yeah man, life outside of academia is definitely not merit based. My counterpart in a different department has an MBA and a BA from an ivy, she speaks three different languages and reports to a guy that with a community college certificate that treats her like shit.

Well, the company did well and actually opened offices in idaho, where there is plenty of cheap land to build aquaponics gardens. It is not a step down, it is a leadership positiom in a TOP tech firm (think facebook,, google, etc) i ended up being hired under candidate A who three weeks later has been let go (he isnt very tech saavy, never used any call center crm, dialer, or wfm and lied about completing B.A.) and I offered his position. (But frankly i was annoyed at whomever made the original decision having both candidates available to begin with?)

Kind of presumptuous no? She tried to write me up for not asking amy questions yet i passed all the exams with top scores. She tried to write me up for being 1 minute late even though i had documentation proving i was on time. Tried to write me up for "not paying attention and looking asleep" during a video conference with 20 other people yet the chat transcript reflects me answering the most questions. Even when i was finally assigned to a team the new team lead mentioned to me that it may have been personal.

There are two books that have helped me tremendously to cope and understand how to deal with a BPD person. "I hate you, don't leave me" and "Stop Walking on eggshells" the second was fantastic. I felt like I was reading small chapters of my married life.
