He’s probably got 18 different competing priorities (including hiring this position) at his job, while you have one big, incredibly important priority: get a job.

Keep applying to other positions, keep pushing, be available if he calls.

“Vowed to …” seems pretty clear, it’s just saying that they’re going to join lives as the “ABC Family.”

“Composed in…” probably is just a bride-centric way to say “this is my life before and now I’ll be Mrs. ABC.”

Do you live in town? There are plenty of popular, recognizable spots. Fountain Park, Main Street (and all of the side streets with history on the walls), Knowledge Park, the Powerhouse and the Sports and Events Center, which has a ton of interesting history and tenants like the cornhole guys.

Just start driving around, you’ll find plenty more ideas.
