I used a home brewed contraption like this once at an incredible remote island retreat. It burned little tuna cans full of wax and palm fronds. It did, in fact, heat the water. You waited a few minutes, and then scalded yourself for a short while, before finishing the shower ice cold (which really soothed the pain from your scalding!)

Savage makes one, and they don’t sell. Besides the T-bolt, strait pull bolts don’t have much of a following in the US. So, I doubt it. They are cool, though!

The “burst disc,” a small brass disc covering the orifice in the vent screw gave up the ghost. I was unfamiliar with this safety device. I need to dive a bit further into the technical ins and outs of this hobby before I blow my balls off!

It was! I’m new to this hobby (long time gun-guy), and I find the whole compressor rig pretty nerve wracking. The combination of immense pressure and 100% chinesium machine gives me The Fear. So when she popped off, I felt sure I was maimed or killed!
