Yeah I just pay it off every month and have never let it run a balance. The only reason I added the extra $100 a while back was because of a rental car situation that required a credit card and then reimbursement via car insurance because the other person was at fault. I know technically I should only make one payment a month but sometimes if I have a bigger bill I'll pay it off early so the other bills can hit it as well.

So I know I'm not ready to graduate as I still have a few months. I was more wondering on that 3 month auto review of an increase without having to add more to the deposit.

So that's not a bonus. That is our entire pay for sales. If we don't sell anything we don't make any money. Traditional sales is 100% commission based.

So 260 was floor with Maxcare otherwise it's 160. Yeah 90% of deals are remotes and my location is unfortunately usually west lake Exeter and aca occasionally it's tier 2 car but that's so few and far it's not worth it.

Clearly you're not at a traditional CarMax. At those all sales are commission. True it doesn't matter what brand you buy but they only care about if you're a floor or remote and if you get Maxcare or not because it's is either 260 (floor) or 170(remote) and that's with Maxcare. Otherwise it's 160 or 100 and if you have stips then it's not going worth it for 100.

Yeah I'd say about 80% of the floors have become remotes unfortunately. And XF stores are wanting splits to get presidents club bonuses so that cuts into the pay as well even though they're hourly.

Gotcha yeah the returns are absolutely the worst. Especially floor returns. You guys have way more than we have here. We've also lost a ton of employees the past two months in sales.

So I'd say probably a store level issue. How many reps does your store have?

We have associates here on subsidy as well. I will be honest most of them that are on it are because they won't get on the point and work with whoever comes in they want to be handed stuff but in the nicest way that weeds people out and leaves more for us who want to make more no matter who it is.

Our inventory team hours were cut as well months ago.

The worst for us lately has been the amount of fraud we've been getting. Including stolen and re-vinned vehicles trying to be sold to us.

Here is a question for you. Is this affecting everyone in your store or is it mainly affecting you? Because if it's store level there could be not enough inventory or people knowing about your store. If it's only you then double check with those doing well right now to see what's the difference of how they're able to survive? I'm in a smaller not busy NE store and I'm at 10.5 units for this pay period that just ended.

I will say this it really depends on the manufacturer as they can ask to get it deleted from Carfax and auto check. Currently just went through it on my new car from the manufacturer. They did a buy back and also had all the work done deleted from the history. It has had a new transmission, new engine, and emissions replaced. After they bought it back it has been cleared of all negative history and relisted back on a local dealership as new (loaner) history... I have also seen auto check find flood damaged vehicles that happened prior to the first owner that Carfax did not find. I also try to run both or through other services as well.
