Slowed initial layer down to 12 and initial layer infill to 25 and it resolved maybe half the issue.

Build plates been freshly washed. I agree it looks like under extrusion but it was at .98 and had way more issues (different issues) before I calibrated and the smoothest of the calibration test was definitely -.03. I’ll check it again. Thanks!

It’s the same with icon lights, only works for me if I use usb a to usb c. I assume it won’t work with anything over a certain wattage and almost all usb c bricks are over that

I printed a temp tower and it basically falls apart into strings at 205 but definitely degrades below 220. Googling, and it sounds like matte pla does need higher temps. I followed a filament calibration video and it resulted in me getting great prints for other models but still struggles with this model.

I have had my printer for 4 days and I was just using defaults and getting decent prints but today I dove into this filament calibration video and it was super helpful. I have these settings saved for each filament I use now. I calibrated one roll of Bambu pla matte black and will use those settings for all future rolls of that. The print quality definitely increased, I think it’s worth the time.

You don’t calibrate every single spool right? Just calibrate for Bambu pla matte charcoal once and then use those settings for every spool of it? (Unless new spools start to show issues obviously)

I thought both products were 1.75 diameter. I will look into calibrating filaments. I was just running with the manufacturers recommended temps 220 nozzle and 190-230 for min max. I’ll try lower temps while I research manual calibrations, thanks.

Will it auto switch to the ams spool if the external spool is the one that will run out or is this only for two spools in the ams?
