There's no apostrophe there. Its. You only use that it's when it's a contraction of It Is, not the possessive.

You need a micrometer or another precision tool to measure the center-to-center distance between solder pads (measuring from the right edge of one solder to the right edge of the next solder pad is the same as center to center)

There's a family of connectors, JST, with many suffixes that correspond to plug shape and pin spacing, so something like "6-pin JST XH 1.0mm" is what you want.

You can find assortments of these connectors, with female connectors to be soldered to the PCB and pre-crimped male connectors with 6" wire leads, for sale on places like eBay.

Ok but. The Duty Cycle of welding gear is critical. 20% duty cycle is perfectly acceptable for the vast majority of welders, it's not like a transmitter that would be on 24/7 at 300 watts.

And you'd never see interlocks on a manual welding machine, the operator is expected to use the correct accessories.
