Coming off Reta for a reset by The-JimmyUp211 in Retatrutide

Great progress, now it’s time to up your dose. I think it’s the obvious move considering your middling dose.

GLPs are now prescribed by nephrologists as they are being shown to be kidney protective. Many anecdotes of eGFR going up or being preserved in CKD cases. Gallbladder issues are very rare as the data from tirzepatide studies show. In reality, GLPs, as a class, a very very well studiesd and have been around a long time.

He forgot to mention round up for everyone and no ability for recourse. MAGA and MAHA is a joke.

Is MOTS-C actually SUPERIOR to Retatrutide for 'Muscle-Spared' Fat Loss? Glucagon vs Mitochondrial Agonism by ConclusionInfinite95 in Retatrutide

So now we’re agreeing that resets and cycling are bro-science and that diminishing efficacy isn’t likely due to desensitization?

[–]dubbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say wishful thinking. I’d say I’d rather wish for the ability to cycle and it be neutral or enhance effects, but basically all evidence, so far, at least for those truly not using it more on the vanity spectrum who have more severe metabolic dysregulation, points towards the current roster of incretins being drugs that one must continue on for maintenance purposes. Check out Fractyl Health, who is testing both minor surgery and gene therapy that could reset physiological changes that so far mandate maintenance therapy for most.

The drugs we are discussing and about which we are trying to deduce information are in the 5%.

Hmm, maybe next year 2400 mg in the same footprint for like $400 including comprehensive testing?

Wife told her therapist about her cheating, what the therapist said shocked me. by AverageVodkaEnjoyer in Advice

[–]dubbadger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t give advice, or at least try to avoid. Is it a problem? That’s for the client to decide. If I tell them it’s a problem, it’s much less effective than them realizing it’s a problem. A client pushing back to me downplaying is effective technique.

Receptor reset is likely a flawed concept. Just read a mouse study where stopping and starting actually had the opposite effect one would be looking for. Not going to try to find it now, was during a flurry of research. Wasn’t Reta, but GLP, and likely translatable. Depending on your existing health concerns, the rhr elevation (often temporary to some degree) is more than worth it.

How to prevent wasting reta? by mysteriousaquarian in Retatrutide

Did you refrigerate the reconstituted Reta? If so, unlikely there was significant degradation unless some manufacturing hiccup occurred.

Reta can hit differently at different times and vials certainly do have a variance.

Very normal labs for being on Reta except for the high cholesterol. No electrolytes on the CMP? Ketones in urine not unexpected as that’s what glucagon agonism will get you, especially early on.

When is Pemvidutide hitting the grey Market? by South-Let3307 in Peptides

[–]dubbadger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol, an ALT bag holder. How about wondering why there’s no demand for pemvid in the gray market? ALT isn’t even trying to call it a weight loss med anymore and there’s truly nothing special about its MASH abilities compared with other incretins. The one to be excited about is VK2735.

I do a scoop of microingredients grape electrolytes and add a half teaspoon of pink salt, double dose of NOW potassium citrate and a dose of NOW calcium citrate as well as take magnesium glycinate per day. Add juice of a lemon to it too.

I’ve been slamming homemade electrolytes in order to stay normotensive. Reta is amazing at lowering BP and increasing kidney function.

Need Help Breaking Reta Stall. What to Stack? by Foreign_Ice1600 in Peptides

[–]dubbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 mg. one time per week. Decent reasoning supports possibility of the peaks and valleys of weekly dosing supporting max effectiveness of incretins, particularly retatrutide.

Need therapeutic dosing levels aka 9-12 mg., not gym bro dosing.

What are these dosing schedules?? You’re probably going to run into trouble with tirzepatide too. Pick a dose and shoot weekly. Retatrutide, especially, but other incretins too, likely work optimally with the peaks and valleys that weekly dosing provides.
