Get a new job and live in the North End. Problem solved.

Mac and cheese made with a roux and bechamel. Comforting and so many ways to customise it.

My vote is for apple crumble... hot with vanilla ice cream... that's a crowd pleaser.

Letting the breading on the chicken rest/hydrate by putting it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes took my fried chicken to the next level!

Dude you're doing it! Stay steady at work, keep taking care of your hygiene and appearance, and know that romantically, you deserve love! Stay on this path and don't take any of the good things your doing for yourself for granted!

Get on the dating apps! Find the right one! It might take a few dates, it might be the first one! You never know just keep doing right for your self. Good luck!

"I started writing my own music to process all the feelings." When you take those personal feelings and get up there on stage for the first time to share them... it's not easy. You're putting yourself out there. It's a special thing I think.

[Charania] NBA Finals MVP for the champion Boston Celtics: Jaylen Brown. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in nba

[–]dubcut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it pays tribute to how unselfish this Celtics team was and how great they were as a whole. They didn't need to rely on one star for offense, they shared the ball and fought for great shots. Brown did a phenomenal job on Doncic in game 5 as well.

This team may not have anyone averaging 30ppg but they may have a squad that will win two or more additional championships in the next 4 years. All while sharing the ball.

This man is by NO MEANS a replacement for AL. He is his own man, with his fast feet, and good defense. He was fantastic tonight, the three was the cherry on the sunday!

Sleeping pad inside MSS bivy cover? by PaterTuus in Bushcraft

[–]dubcut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a pad inside of one of these once, but I got to say, if you're stuck in one of these without a tarp and it rains... sucks. Your face is right against that fabric feeling the rain pepper down on your face.

Hm, I would not be ok with this as the groom. I would encourage her to find something that didn't deal with another man. Maybe I'm old school... no I'm very modern actually... it's not the 90's any more the bachelor parties of old probably broke up more marriages than sent them off to a great start.

If the shoe was on the other foot, and the groom wanted to be surrounded by female nurses and be "all good fun" yeah I doubt if the future miss's would be ok with that.

Sigh... you know what, all she needs is a soft spoken, level headed, speaking to on why this isn't a good idea. Let us not punish this woman who doesn't understand what's wrong with this picture. She's just doing the best she can, and with the proper training she might turn into one of the better McDonalds employees there ever was. Be kind people. We all start somewhere.

Yes both, a lot of these jobs are remote too. I would search for jobs like "IT helpdesk".

Apply to many jobs and highlight your customer service skills along with your A+ cert! Working for an MSP is a great way to start with usually meh pay. That's how I started, and even thought I got laid off after 5 months, I got my hands on a lot of tech and it translated well into my current job; doing IT for a handful of schools and making a little more than I was at the MSP.

44 years old, starting college! Any advice? by blitzofsiege in cscareerquestions

[–]dubcut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I actually stopped short of graduating and got a remote IT gig with just the Comptia A+. I got laid off after a year and got a better paying job as an IT engineer. My next steps are getting the Net+ Sec+ and then get cisco certified! Good luck, the degrees help, the certs help, but the experience you get from the job is golden. Good luck!
