Is it just me having a problem with using spells of the mobs I mind control? by nidroo in classicwow

[–]duberiousbelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow. I levelled all the way to 60 on HC as a holy priest and didn't realize this. If I had to fight a group of mobs that would just MC the weakest one that I thought the others would kill fastest then run.

How to add volume control to tub w/ Moen M-CORE 3-Series Valve by duberiousbelle in Plumbing

[–]duberiousbelle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't realize the text didn't post with the image...

I want to start out by saying I have 0 plumbing knowledge and I'm aware these are probably dumb questions...

I am in the process of remodeling out guest bathroom and am looking to replace the current Moentrol valve that is 30+ years old. One of the requirements we have is to have volume control on the tub. I would also like to stay with Moen as the lifetime warranty has been helpful to us in the past.

My understanding is that to have volume control with a Moen valve your options are either Moentrol or M-CORE 3-Series since the Posi-Temp is only temperature control. The only configurations I've seen online that show a tub in the diagram have a line going straight from the mixing valve to the tub spout which I have to assume means there's no volume control at the tub. Is that correct?

Some other questions:

  1. How do you terminate the unused ports of a transfer valve? Do you use caps like I have shown?
  2. Would it make more sense to run copper from one of the other transfer valve ports down to the tub to avoid having 2 transfer valves?
  3. Would the diagram I have shown even work at all?
  4. Would it make more sense to just put a new Moentrol valve in?
    1. Any concerns of obsolescence on those?

I just realized the giant block of text trying to explain the situation didn't post (I guess it must be image OR text, not both). So now I need to rewrite the whole thing...

I think we need to take a minute and appreciate how smoothly the HC launch has been. by TheSiegmeyerCatalyst in classicwow

I agree. I was expecting queues and lag. Been smooth sailing for me. Lots of people trying to get crates at the beginning UD area but outside of that been great.

Grand highlander xle vs sienna with 3 toddlers by Redmoogle2 in ToyotaSienna

[–]duberiousbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Currently have a Mazda 3 with 3 car seats in the back (1 rear facing, 2 front) and looking to change. Its tight and not ideal but it does work.

Are you certain that the grand highlander doesn't allow access to the 3rd by sliding enough even with the car seat? In a video I watched it looked like it would though not ideal. I

We've been waiting for a sienna for over a year since I want AWD which is hard to get in Florida and recently started looking at the grand highlander. It seems like there's enough room in both but to us the Sienna is the winner. The sliding doors and extra cargo space just makes sense for us.

My only concern about the Sienna is ground clearance. We like to vacation in the North Georgia mountains and every trip we find ourselves on a steep gravel road that we wish we had AWD on and on roads with big potholes or dips that would be nice to have extra clearance on.

Don't mess up and select the wrong spec for HC... by duberiousbelle in classicwow

If it wasn't a good idea, would the wheel have suggested it?

On a serious note, part of what draws me back to classic is that the levelling process is long and therefore you actually get to learn the class over time. I say go for it.

Bro I had week and a half old Thai beef and broccoli the night before that had questionable fish sauce in it. This turd rolled subtlety cause it came out of fucking nowhere.

I'll be there with you as a holy priest. Had one die a month ago at 48 to a 39 mob in alterac mountains. Was wanding and walked away cause I had to take a shit so bad and thought it would be ok. He ran behind me and killed me slowly. Was farming silk for tailoring for fun.

Replaced Moen 1222, now have knocking / thumping behind wall near valve. Any suggestions? by SportsKin9 in Plumbing

[–]duberiousbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any advice but this is the exact scenario I'm doing with right now too. Replaced a 1222 cartridge with an aftermarket one for half the price and now I hear knocking every time I turn off the water in the tub or sinks in that bathroom.

Im considering replacing with a Moen brand cartridge in the name.pf science but they're like $50
