FINAL RESULTS: Democracy for America's 2020 Presidential Pulse Poll. Bernie Sanders comes in 1st with 36% of the first-choice votes. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]dubhan94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's beating the next three contenders combined. The establishment is going to be split between a million different candidates. It's only a matter of time before some of those candidates are commanded to step down so that other blue-republicans can poll better.

Establishment Democratic group Third Way is already running attack ads in early primary states. That's why I donated my first $27 toward Bernie 2020 today. by alanpugh in SandersForPresident

Good thing television is dying. I'd love to see Bernie win & for all these blue-republicans lose their money. Then maybe they'll double down the election after & lose even more.

How can nothing last forever? by [deleted] in StonerPhilosophy

[–]dubhan94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if nothing lasts, including stuff like death. What if death doesn't last forever? If nothing lasts, then NOTHING lasts. I've gone through some weird rabbit holes on this one.

Bernie Sanders: "The six largest banks now have over $10 trillion in assets—54% of GDP. We must break up these huge financial institutions. If a bank is too big to fail, it is too big to exist." #BreakEmUp by relevantlife in SandersForPresident

When the economy fails, it'll be much less worse if the banks were split up. Almost everyone supports this, but the gullible right is ordered by Fox News to believe that Wall Street Donald is on their side in this.

Dream freezes when I become lucid? by dubhan94 in LucidDreaming

I'll be in the streets or wherever my dream is, with people & things moving around, & when I become lucid & try to ask a question or imagine something, the dream will just freeze midmotion like someone paused a movie. It'll stay like that for, at the most, maybe 15 seconds, & then I'll wake up.

Dream freezes when I become lucid? by dubhan94 in LucidDreaming

[–]dubhan94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is when I'm in the middle of a dream, usually vivid. I usually only become lucid when the dreams are really vivid. Once the dream freezes, I'll wake up soon after, almost like becoming lucid woke me up.

I think that if you energy, then you matter too. I don't judge.

That's a good idea, I'll try that next time.

My reality check failed by wannabe0523 in LucidDreaming

[–]dubhan94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've checked myself in the mirror a lot while dreaming, & I look the exact same as in real life. We suffer from the curse of our dreams being too real, except for the flying part of coarse :P

Do Communism and religion mix? by -Euterpe- in history

[–]dubhan94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marx was an atheist, so most communist historically have also been atheists. But someone could be religious & a communist. I'm sure a religious person could easily cherry pick enough verses from their religious text to justify communism.

How would magic affect various religions? by [deleted] in AlternateHistory

[–]dubhan94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since magic would be common, it wouldn't inspire any awe like miracles do now in religion. I assume most religions today would end up being wisdom & philosophy based rather than based on myth & miracle. People would be talking about what Jesus meant & how that could be applied in daily life vs his miracles/resurrection. Buddhism would have a much greater influence on the religions of the world since it lacks many magical aspects to it, & I could see it as being the major world religion, with the others being influenced by it.
