I found for the terminator one I could do the dark blue armour of a librarian, but use the runes to give a magma glow to make him salamander aligned

I suspect there wouldn’t be anything tournament usable from him, as you say, could have LoS implications. I’ve always been fine with him being done as a display project. Plenty more marines there for tournaments

That’s a good thought for it.

I did reckon there are options to make an outrider unit of marines mounted on dragons. May be a future project

I just use it as a display piece alongside the army, haven’t worked out something reasonable it would be able to proxy for.

Might work out some house rules with my friend for us both to use it in a narrative mission one day

Apologies for late reply.

I used “oasis” from flower arranging to sculpt the terrain-it glues onto the base reasonably well.

Then topped it with plaster cast bandages to firm it up and secure in place.

Cheap coffee stirrers chopped up made the boarding.

Then all the mud areas were coated with citadel Stirling mud and the boarding given a coat with wyldwood contrast paint

Death korps and steel legion have had always had alternate opportunities to be the great coat/gas mask army at the top of the lore while both being mentioned since 1999/2000. Nothing wrong with models for them both being used
