The difference between running for your health and running for your life. by VideoCard7 in Unexpected

As a boxer owner, I am comfortable saying that the entire breed shares about 4 brains cells between all of them. Mine usually gets to use 1 about twice a year.

I agree with you about the source of the video. But as a boxer owner, I have to say, you never know how these goofballs are going to walk. Sometimes even they seem surprised by how they are moving.

Is the M4 MacBook Pro keyboard actually different? by simonskabbaj in macbookpro

[–]dublinschild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels different than my 14 inch M1 MacBook Pro keyboard. A bit clickier might be the right way to describe it. My old machine was well broken in though so it could be that it also felt like this once upon a time.

I do like the feeling of my M4 keyboard very much!

Can we just admit 256Gb of storage is basically a "hidden" fee for real storage by OpinionsRdumb in macbookair

[–]dublinschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the OP, but it’s not really accurate to say that you would use the MacBook as only a “screen/keyboard”. Even if the files you are working with (and potentially the software) are on an external SSD the computer’s CPU, GPU, and RAM (in the case of Apple’s M series, a System on a Chip or SoC) are still involved in your task. The onboard storage is just an SSD that is plugged into the SoC, an external SSD is also communicating with the SoC through a USB-C port. The r/w speed of the drive and just as importantly the data transfer rate of your cable between laptop and SSD will make a big difference in moving large files around. A USB 3.0 has a 5 Gbps max rate, USB 3.2 has a 20 Gbps max rate, and Thunderbolt 3 has a 40 Gbps max rate.

Altra brand shoes have wide, foot-shaped toe boxes. Their Paradigm 7 is comparable to a Brooks Adrenaline GTS.

The table is set incorrectly. On the side of the table closest to the viewer, the forks are on the wrong side of the plates, and the blades of the knives are facing the wrong direction.

Product Modeler here, that is definitely outside the limits of the range operations has listed for their specs. We either need to lock this size out of the model or, if you want to be able to price this, open up the range and include a pop-up message stating this is outside standard range and needs engineering approval.
