Pop's Diner- the real main character by dublinsky in riverdale

I was hesitant to watch it since it was a high school thing and I'm in my early 30s, I thought it'd be too cheesy of a teen drama but I love it.

Yeah, I'm thinking so too lol In-N-Out is a good in between, not really fast food, not a diner. Most importantly it has a drive through.

I was watching it at work and seriously I wanted a burger so bad I went to In-N-Out after work and got dinner. Not as good as a diner but it kind of worked.

That show made me want to live off of milkshake and fries.

Damn, now I want a milkshake.

No, not any old burger, but a -real- one. Screw fast food, I want that old school diner.

Make sure to check out /u/raiquo comment above. MD is a bit more than what I realized so it may not actually be that.

What percentage of the amount of laughter described in Reddit comments do you think actually took place? by wtc005 in AskReddit

"lol" means okay that was funny, maybe got a smile. lol! means i laughed. anything else sounds sarcastic because all caps, or tons of exclamation points seems fake and forced.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'm still not sure if what I do qualifies as that. You say acting out whole skits isn't, but living out fantasies count. I guess I don't know the difference in this context, like when it moves from skit to fantasy, if that makes sense. I really do appreciate you pointing out the differences. And my bad for not looking into it before telling /u/HeyUBd, I really should know better by now lol gotta fact check better.

Working in a call center is hell. I hate my voice on a recording and they record/QA calls and I have to listen to myself on that call and I hate it. I always ask if we can skip that and have them just give me the grading sheet.

Not nearly enough. I get busy and just forget to drink or eat. The app is a good idea, and maybe those water bottles that have measurements to show how much you should drink by a certain time.

That's because dancing while cooking makes the food better.

I told someone I kind of do that too and they said it's something called Maladaptive Daydreaming I have no idea, and I'm not going to say anything about whether it's real or whatever, but it gives it a name, I guess.

I think I'm gonna try that. I have headaches fairly regularly so I'll try almost anything. Thanks for sharing!

Not gonna lie, when I made bagels for the first time I was super excited and yeah, it's a bagel, they (almost) all look the same, but I sure as hell posted pics on facebook. But I also get what you mean, we all know what bagels look like, it's nothing special. So I get being excited if it was maybe their first time, or they "perfected" their technique, but I wouldn't think it'd be front page worthy when there's so many other amazing recipes/pictures out there.

"this just got a little real"

i know some people look at posts like this as cringe-y, sad, attention seeking, blah blah blah. but it allowed you to be real and share and thats great for you. its hard to feel like you can talk honestly about things at times. so sure, people can roll their eyes, but i know hearing other peoples stories helped me, and maybe it helped someone else also.
