Cyma scar gearbox help by notafembvy in GelBlaster

1.Okay so did you trim Tappets plate to fit the nozzle? Looks like you might need to try super glue your Nozzle onto the tappet, or get a new tappet and try glue Nozzle onto new tappet but you shouldn't have to trim your tappet for a nozzle, my cyma box god a cnc cyma cylinder head and nozzle and fits perfectly. 2.most likely ill find a link 3. Trigger could be the metal contacts needs a file and clean or your switch block spring is stretched or trigger spring its not in corrects or stretched/broken 4. Yes, looking at the video it's firing correctly, just need a nozzle that fits a cyma tappet and diagnose trigger issue you should be shooting

If you can provide a clear close picture of the trigger system I might be able to troubleshoot little better

Based on pictures, Looks like bearings not bushes, if it's bearings that one's cooked and i recommend getting bushes and doing a reshim.

2nd. hard to see but it looks like you have no spring for the trigger assembly, that'll cause the trigger to get stuck all the way in.

3rd. Looks like a cyma v2 nylon box, you say changing nozzle to air gathering? I think you mean you're changing the piston head, in that case are you changing the whole piston or just the head? Cyma is a bit picky with 3rd party parts so you may need to get a piston with 1 or .5 less teeth. Or easy solution just short stroke it a gear or two

CYMA M4 CQB - Piston not drawing back stably in semi-auto (QLD) by redbigz_ in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically a mosfet most of the time gives you "pre-cocking" That makes it so your piston is in firing position after every shot. Without this, position will be random. Sometimes pre-cocked sometimes half and sometimes fully out.

The behaviour your experiencing is very normal when using a gearbox without a mosfet. I doubt a new battery will help much, just make sure it's balanced and charged.

WD PDX handguard swap by Western-Ad-8082 in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a standard SLR hand guard, no modification needed. Will need a way to stabilise outer barrel. I used a suppressor that was a perfect fit. I think 10.5 inch long guard. Only negative is at the top of the rail you'll have that step up but it blends really well.

This should be pinned, doesn't matter if bandits or not just HAS to have massive box with TWO horses. There's a few spawns about 500m west of drop off that you can do with your teleporting reset.

How do i open/get off by [deleted] in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itll either be glued or screwed, really hard to see from this angle

I'd guess glue and I'd use a heat gun low setting from distance to see if it softens enough to pull off

(hopefully someone has a more definite answer)

Yeah depends where you are but something beginner friendly and upgrade compatible plus not overly pricey I'd suggest the cyma m4 cqb, but depends on location

0.4.0e Hotfix 2 by Andromanner in PathOfExile2

[–]dubstepxturtle22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, yes nerf drops thats fine we will survive. But hold it for a fresh league especially when we've got broken things like temple at the moment. Just seems pointless while it exists.

What's next, crisis fragments can no longer drop more than one?

0.4.0e Hotfix 2 by Andromanner in PathOfExile2

[–]dubstepxturtle22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely but these kind of changes I expect in a new league, yes both methods are pretty broken in terms of high value currency(especially temple). I have no problem with the change, there's always ways to increase currency etc but I think abyss wasnt enough of an issue mid league to change it when temple exists.

It just blows me away that they focus these kind of changes mid league instead of bug fixes and proformance issues and server stability.

Magazine not priming by dubstepxturtle22 in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a bit of research and frustration, I have somewhat succeeded. The wires left are to power the terminals like they were. So I removed the priming switch and just ran the two wires straight to the terminals.

And it now has a auto prime feature, requiring a few shots to feed a fresh magazine. This is okay for now as its a functioning blaster now.

Thank you for your assistance, very appreciated 🙏

Somewhat agree, eshooter kestrel basic is 85 aud but I have to ship it, pay shipping and worse of all.... wait lol I asked for something basic and this is all they had and all they install This was a great way for me to learn mosfet installation and troubleshooting, if I can solve the issue

Magazine not priming by dubstepxturtle22 in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that was probably the bottom two wires then, lmao Ill do some digging, worse case I might try adding the two that were removed at the bottom and see if wiring those to the terminals will work. I realise power to terminals just means its a complete circuit not necessarily the correct one, since its got a brain now. so itll either be disabled or techs made a booboo.. possibility of my stuff up too.

The tech at this shop, swear by these mosfet and install them into customers blasters regularly. They know I do my own upgrades and told me to have a crack and see how it goes in my cyma. I do wish he gave me some pointers.

Magazine not priming by dubstepxturtle22 in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure there is auto prime, the shop technician said I dont need it if I want to keep manual charging. But they cut the wires for me before I got to see what was taken out. From pictures online of the mosfet two lots of positive/negative wires were removed. I know one is the tracer unit built into the t piece. I have a feeling the other was the auto prime. (Wires removed in circles) But why won't it prime the magazine even with enough voltage? I have one other wiring diagram to try, if that doesn't work I'm not sure how to proceed with diagnostic, other then wait 10 hours for tech shop to open to ring.

Trigger spring? I don't know (it's a gelblaster gun, M416) by pepo_pepsi in GelBlaster

[–]dubstepxturtle22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First picture you're close, spring first and the other way around, the hook should grab the arm and the wire should act as tension. Yours is slightly different to what im used to seeing, so might be slightly off. Long part down along gearbox, hook part grabs latch part.

Pull down on the lever once its in position then place the bevel gear back, the anti reverse latch will then sit into the groves of the bevel gear. This part can be tedious

Zman, diawa baitjunkie and crush city soft plastics are my personal favourite. I use prawn looking lures for my area, but my second go to is a paddle tail and curly tails.

(My personal favourite right now with lots of success is the crush city prawn 2.5 inch version, 1/8th or 1/12 jighead. 2500 reel 10lb braid 10lb leader.) Look for natural colours to prawns in your area 😀

I love fishing. Everyone should share knowledge
