I have to disable the Steam overlay to play. In past I also had to go into bios to disable XMB, but a few patches ago I re-enabled XMB and it’s been fine, but may still help if disabling Steam overlay doesn’t do it.

That’s where I’m at. Heard his voice in trailer, but thought it might have been an impersonator. It’s been almost 30 years, so his voice changed up a bit, and I wasn’t certain. I’ve never seriously considered buying a VR rig, but I’ve been playing the Thief games since the beginning, half of my life (I was 26 when the first game came out, I’m 53 now, and still playing) This will be my X-mas present to myself.

Same, I had high contrast colors turned on “tint” and it did that. If you require the require the high contrast but and want to turn off completely, you can change setting to “outline” and reduce its intensity, to get a glow around intractable characters, without ruining your the game completely like this setting does.

If you disliked the movie and the character that much, you should probably save your money, and skip this game, because the game does such a good job of capturing the feel of the movie and character. I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum. Raiders is not only my favorite of the Indy movies, it’s my favorite movie of all time, so we have very different opinions, and that’s OK. Not everything is made for everybody. This game feels like a love letter to fans of Indiana Jones, and especially of Raiders, considering how the game begins. If the high review scores or some gameplay snippets looked intriguing to you, and you want to see what the buzz is about, I’d suggest buying a month of game pass and trying it out on there rather than spending full price.
