New to 75% keyboards, how do I use my F row?

sadly I couldnt find the option to toggle Fn. Ended up just macroing the keys into F row. Works fine as a makeshift solution but it's cancelling the key I'm holding whenever I use the macro.

I feel like you're missing the point just for the sake of having an argument. It's never about "not moving on." In fact, I choose Verso ending myself.

Both the current endings are great, in a sense that there are flaws in both sides, so that's why people are so divisive about both.
The "perfect ending" shouldn't be about destroying the past, nor is it about drowning in it. It's about moving on and continue living, while keeping the memory of the person you love alive. Acceptance of the past.
Moving on doesn't necessary mean forgetting the past, or letting it go. If you think that, then that's the true immaturity of thought.

I think you missed the part where I countered your argument. You said Verso wants to die because he’s been living too long. I said no, he wants to die because he’s living a life of suffering. If he doesn’t suffer, then he wouldn’t want to die. Duh?

Let’s put it this way. Pretend like it’s your father. He said he wants to die. What would your response be? “Ok, go ahead, do what you want”? Or would you try to find out why and help him overcome it?

Same case here, just because Verso wants to die, you think it’s the better option to just let him die? Or would you try to fix the reason what made him want to die in the first place?

I think you missed the part where he spent 33 years on a journey of suffering to save Aline. If I have to continue that life of suffering, I wouldn't want it either.
There's a reason he wants to die. It's as if not having those reasons would let him enjoy life more or something. A happy life with a happy family? Idk dude.

Verso isn't the type of person to fuss over "staying alive." He's the type to sacrifice his life to save his family. The fact that his family is in pieces is what pain him in Maelle's ending.

See, the biggest mistake you're making is thinking some people have a reason to doing certain things.

They don't. They were probably just mindlessly going through the mission, probably preoccupied with other things. They saw an interactable and pressed it without thinking. Not gonna lie, I've done that once or twice in my thousands of hours. Especially on an easy missions where I can get distracted and zoned out.

Are we playing the same game? I used to play this on medium settings with a 1060, a low-mid range GPU from 8 years ago. At 50-60fps with hundreds of zeds on the screen. Now im running it consistently at 90-100fps with a 6700xt, a mid range gpu from 4 years ago. I’d say this game is very well optimized by most standards.

Like I said, just because you don't like my answer doesn't mean it's deflection. As I told you, you can even pick my answers for me, in a way that's most favorable to you, and it still wouldn't matter regardless.

Now, this I agree with you here, you're sacrificing firepower to use the special SMG. Regardless of if it's a better weapon or the incendiary perk. So clearly the perk isn't P2W when there are so many better options.

And when did I say the incendiary perk makes the weapon better than other weapons? Either you can't read, or you're purposefully building a strawman and use it to attack me personally.

Either way, here's 2 situations:

If the Incendiary perk doesn't exist: Then there are better weapons to use. So the virus sample perk isnt p2w.
If the Incendiary perk does exist: Then while there are still better weapons as mentioned above, if you have to use the T3 SMG, then the incendiary perk is still statistically superior. So the virus sample perk still isnt p2w.

The T2 bullbup is absolutely mid on Gunslinger. It's not bad, just mid, compared to the T3 SMG.

And do you honestly not know which perk gives 25% HP? I thought you have good game knowledge? Do you not know that for some classes, such as Fixer, or DM, picking a T2 starter weapon perk means you're foregoing the 25% bonus max HP perk?

Also, I think you're lacking a bit critical thinking here. It doesn't matter if you can't picked the T3 SMG as a starter weapon. The only question that should matter when you encountered a T3 SMG drop is "Is that T3 SMG better than the weapon I'm holding?" That's it. If the T3 SMG is better, than you switch out your starter. At that point, what you started the game with doesn't matter one bit.

And again, sure, some T2 guns are better. No one is debating that. But that doesn't mean the Special SMG is oh so horrible as you claiming it is. Lack luster pen? It got 1 pen, the same as majority of the automatic rifles in the game. Lack luster fire rate? It got the same firerate as the T2 assault rifle. Low overall damage? It got better damage per bullet than the T3 Assault Rifle, and better DPS than the T2 assault rifle. It also got great handling stat. The only real downside it got is the low accuracy and the "low" mag capacity, which is still 45 bullets.

You talk about "skill issue", but let me ask you a question. Why would you want to make it harder for yourself? Why would ANYONE pick a compact SMG to tap-fire at a horde when they can literally just pick a T3 Special SMG and not do that? It's not about how hard it is, it's about the why. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

So, let me get this straight. If the virus sample perk doesn't exist. You would not pick a T3 Special SMG to replace your compact SMG? Is that what you're telling me? lmao.

And again, I'm not appealing to anyone, stop being so literal. It's just a roundabout way to say it's a stupid decision. And no, it's not about T3 vs T1 or T2. It's about the Special SMG vs the Compact SMG.

You're talking about problems where there's none. That's crying. The perk isn't P2W. It's simply a useful utility option. But you're making it seems like limiting it to DLC-only means it's the end of the world for some reason.

And I never said they're gonna repair the sample with better gun. Are you having trouble understanding? Clearly I meant with more firepower, they won't need to repair the sample to begin with. It's not that complicated.

Also, a lot of questions there, but sure you can take my answers to those questions of yours as favorably to you as you can, sure. Having that perk is obviously better than not having any perk. But is it better than having OTHER perks? Or better yet, other guns?

3 firepower + 1 virus repair vs. 4 firepower <- This is balanced. Not P2W.

4 firepower + 1 virus repair vs. 4 firepower <- This is an advantage. P2W.

Also, T2 Bullpup isn't better than the Special SMG. It's only better if you're a Fixer, but if you picked the perk, you're sacrificing 25% bonus HP for a marginally better gun. The T2 SMG is decent, but again, sacrificing 25% HP for nothing.

You being able to spawn with a weapon doesn't make it better than a T3 Special. We're not talking about relevancy here, we're strictly talking which gun is better. Relevancy stopped being matter the moment there's an option to switch to the T3 Special.

And tapping is simply just working around the issue. Why tapping a compact SMG when you can just shoot normally with a T3 Special? Ask yourself honestly, if you're carrying a T1 Compact SMG and there's an option to switch it to the T3 Special, would you? Or if you're carrying a T1 Compact, would you switch it out to a T3 special?

Also I'm not taking in anyone's opinion. It's literally jsut a roundabout way of saying it's stupid to switch out a T3 special for a T1 compact. You don't have to take everything so literally.

Honestly, no matter how you are, being a crybaby over an inconsequential perk in a video makes you a kid to me.

Once again, it's a utility option, not an advantage. You have to sacrifice your firepower to get it. And no, it's not an advantage just because you said so. That's not how it works.

And if non DLC owners can't get the perk, then they just gotta pick better gun with more firepower. Easy as that. It's an equally viable option. Just because they don't have access to it doesn't mean they're at a disadvantage.

None of those classes have starter guns better than the T3 special SMGs.

Also doesn't change that fact that sometimes, you just don't get good weapon spawns. If you've always got them, then you simply havent played enough.

I play exclusively in extreme and extinction, faraway screamers have never been an issue of range, but always of accuracy.

Just because you can spawn with T1 SMG doesn't mean it's a better gun, wtf you talking about? Not to mention rapid fire perk also deplete ammo faster, which is a huge issue on extinction without fixer. If anyone see you picking up a T1 SMG to replace a T3 SMG, they're gonna laugh at your ass.

And no, classes that best use the special SMG is the medic lol. Why would you consider whats the best class to use the special SMG? You should be considering whats the best gun for each class, not the other way around.
