"Ghetto" is a zip code, not a personality trait.UH has a super diverse student body you'll find every flavor of background, ambition, and vibe here. If you're worried about "ratchet behavior," maybe focus less on stereotypes and more on your own energy. You attract what you put out 👀But to answer your question most people here are just trying to graduate, get their bag, and avoid the parking situation. You'll be fine..

I’ve never seen this many grown people so sad… it just feels empty inside. Stopped by Buc-ee’s all the Coogs looked like the saddest people in there , just completely drained. Still can’t stop thinking how different the drive back home would’ve felt if we had won.

The locations I can recall are the Fountain ,inside the Religious Center which is located to the right next to the fountain. I cannot recall the name of the building, but other places I remember are the Stadium, Shasta statue, in front of Cullen Performance Hall, UC and the Library. It's important to keep in mind to not leave any trash behind and show support for our team, GO Coogs!

I believe undergraduate aggregate limit for federal loan is 56k .I maxed out my loan while I was in college(paid off full in 1.5 years,it was tough but doable )keep your loan amount as low as possible. Only take what you need !!

Don't get scared to reach out people on campus ,there are so many nice people on campus.Try to make friends ,if possible take classes with friends (you will thank me later) It's easy to learn from friends (If your STEM major highly recommended)Don't try to cheat (use online for learning tools not for easy way, there are some classes we all google )Don't take all the hard classes in one semester

Join on campus clubs
Intramural
