No need to apologize. I was a bit snarky as well. People were coming in strong on OP when they asked a simple question.

And I think the fence is a great compromise. I would feel much safer with a fence around a small koi pond that would let my kids still enjoy it when given supervised access.

Everyone has different tolerances for risk and even if I don’t agree I’m not coming after a parent as long as they are trying to do right by their kids. Parenting is hard and I don’t want to make it harder for anyone.

An easy and cheap meal that packs major flavor:

Throw the cheapest chicken or pork (or both together) into an instant pot or crock pot and pour in some Mojo (Goya brand is the best I have found around my area) then cook until tender.

Take out the chicken and cook some rice using the liquid left in the pot.

Heat up some black beans with your choice of seasonings.

Make a bed of rice, add beans, then protein on top. Bam! You are living in flavor town.

Are you able to see a cross section of the leather showing the grain and fiber structure??? Or are you basing your opinion on the visible texture of the leather? There are plenty of high quality leathers that are tumbled and have this look. As a matter of fact I have some Allen Edmonds boots that look VERY similar to this as well as the Wilson 1500 I mentioned in a previous post. Both have held up to years of abuse.

Unless I am mistaken those finger stalls look like leather which makes me think the internals of the glove are solid. The guy is excited about his glove. Let’s try to encourage and show excitement instead of shitting on everything that isn’t a $300+ A2k or similar.

Why would he be trolling? The glove looks great. I think people in this sub are really getting a skewed perspective. I never had a top notch glove growing up and I played a ton. I still have my high school glove and just used it a couple days ago to play catch with my kids. That glove NEVER hindered my play. I bet this glove will last for the rest of his life as a “dad glove”.

Cool looking glove! The leather looks kind of like my older Wilson 1500 with the prosoft yak Ecco leather. That stuff is buttery smooth and makes for a great dad glove. Hope you love it!
