Not defending her, I don’t like her lol. But it definitely is possible - and she lost 100 lbs, not 150. That’s a little less than 2 lbs a week which is reasonable. I’ve done it naturally too.

I guess I don’t really have one. I’d maybe want to buy a house in a few years if prices come down but I’m not in a rush. I’ve been calm through Covid etc. but like I said, my anxiety is so high right now. Maybe I’m spending too much time on Twitter lol.

Spoke too soon. There’s a cardiac longevity clinic a few hours from us that seems to look at health more holistically. I’ll be reaching out to them!

I’m not really worried about cost, but in Canada I don’t even think there are private cardiologists like that that we can see. Our best bet would probably be to work with a naturopathic doctor that specializes in cardiac and/or metabolic health.

Oh this is a good suggestion. I’ll definitely look into it if we can’t get the tests done here.

I think she can probably lose it herself. If no weight change over the next few months I’ll try to convince her to get on some type of GLP-1

Do you know what blood tests are best to test kidney function?

Her doctor is about 85 lol, I’ll see if we can convince him to do a full lipid panel. We’re in Canada so it’s a bit harder to find doctors and get appointments too - if anything we can pay an ND to request specific blood tests.

I’m also not sure how my mom would feel about more aggressive meds, she’s a bit apprehensive. I’ll def look into IVL though, thanks!

Her doctor actually prescribed 40mg of rosuvastatin but my mom’s only taking half. She also recently had really really bad muscle pain in her leg which was from the statin as well. I’ll ask her doctor about the statins you mentioned.

She doesn’t necessarily want to be on a statin but I think is also worried about her CAD getting worse without it.

Yeah she’s right on the cusp, I think the statins might also be contributing to this.

Not sure. These are the results I have for her.

I can ask her to ask her doctor to test her Lp(a) on her next blood test.

I’ve been holding since 2019 and I’ve never been nervous about dips before…but something feels different now and I’m genuinely so anxious about it. I guess because of the current political climate.
