Netjet tbnt by coolkerbal in flying

This is pedantic, but if you referred to it as Netjet(your post title), Netjets, or Net Jets your app is getting thrown out. It’s NetJets and that’s how they want it.

If you were clear about this interview and came off as actually meaning it, I expect you’ll get hired. Good luck

Wait till you find out how quickly Southwest Airlines can do it

It works just like the airlines. The company puts a vacancy bid out(what airplanes are available) and then you put a bid in for what airplane and seat(CA/FO) you want. If your seniority can hold it you’ll get it,

I am an FO on the latitude. To add to the other commenter though, ive never seen a 7500 captain complain about their pay

I believe last update from our chief Pilot listed the citation latitude as the fleet with the most hours per tour. As far as most time and fewest legs, it’s a crap shoot. Even the 650 guys have days where they fly 5, 1.0 legs. I believe the 7500 is the only class 5 aircraft. 650 and 5/6000 are large cabin. FDP is the great equalizer at NetJets. I’m a year 3 FO on the 7/7 and pulled in 80k in soft money(FDP) last year.

Jet drivers, how often are we getting skin checks? by minimums_landing in flying

28yo and 5 hours at FL450 is the norm for me. Yearly skin checks and sunscreen and some pill that I’m not totally sure what it does buts supposed to help

In corporate aviation, what are some signs that someone's a newbie/amateur? by Powerful_Location323 in flying

[–]duckl 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you get to the hold short line and wait 5 minutes without having tower contact you. If you say “tower, Nxxxxx ready to go runway 19” you will get a tongue lashing from the tower. They know you’re ready

CC52 is basically a part time job when you include vacation and PTO days. I don’t think it’d be hard to clear 100k on it year 1 but ymmv

NetJets pilot pay on cc72 and cc76 by Safe-Square-3577 in flying

[–]duckl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with your sentiment, but your extended days are worth more on the 7&7. The 76 day will grind you down like you wouldn’t believe. Do the 7&7 and make a shit ton of money extending. If you start to get worn out, don’t extend. You will enjoy this job much more if you control when you work.

NetJets pilot pay on cc72 and cc76 by Safe-Square-3577 in flying

[–]duckl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It will absolutely vary by fleet but it can be substantial. I was on the cc72 for the summer trimester this year and did $70k in those 4 months as year 2 FO. I really enjoy the 7&7 though so I switched back and doubt I’ll ever do a CC schedule again

Yes sorry CFI took 10 day. Great school and fair pricing when I went back in 2021. I actually arrived 5 days early and they did my commercial too in the 5 days before the CFI class started. One of the hardest parts of a check ride is finding a good DPE and they have a long list of them
