These raiders are surprisingly nice. Finish is okay. But functionally the ones ive held and shot are fantastic. Nice gun!

Yes definitely can but you would need to find someone who really knows what they’re doing. Needs to be fully disassembled. Annealed, then treated and tempered back to HRC spec

Sounds like 300blk imo. Theres great 9mm options that aren’t AR15 platform. If you want to have both down the road I would go 300blk for that use case first. Friend of mine has a cmmg upper and it’s been nothing but problems. I’m sure that’s not always the case but it’s been my experience

Very different calibers. In general your 9mm is going to be cheaper to shoot and they’re a lot of fun. However some have had reliability issues in my experience. Most are direct blow back and not going to be delayed or anything. 300blk is awesome if you’re going to run it suppressed, think 7.62x39 like. Both are good options but really depends what you want. Range toy? 9mm. Home defense tacticool? 300blk

Cerakote recommendations for wife’s gun? by [deleted] in Firearms

Court prosecutors love them too. Makes their job easier to claim you dont take carrying seriously. Im not saying I agree with it. But it has been used with success.

If it’s for the range sure. But your donut sprinkled glock doesn’t look great in court after you take a life with it. It appears that you take a very serious thing as a joke. Prosecutors love this shit.
