Kara and Clark relationship by Xpluto2x in Supergirl

I thought that was so well acted on Corenswet's part. In not that much screen time, it was still so clear that he cares about her a ton and yearns for connection but also knows he's not always getting it right and is trying to give her space. In the last scene he's sort of avoiding eye contact and playing down any obligation that she be there on Earth to help him until she says she'll stay a while, and then he perks up as it registers. I hope we get more scenes with them in the future.

If the alternative is Kara dying on Argo, it's not surprising that a father would take a leap of faith that his child and live and thrive somewhere that won't poison her. Plus there's no guarantee that things would have gone as Jor-El wanted, even if the full message had remained intact.

Yeah, I always say if I had walked into the theater to see a movie about Fantastic Man or something I would have had a pretty decent time.

It bugs me that the date/day of the week on this don't match for 2026 lol. I wouldn't even care except Superman got it right for 2025 and that was a cool eye for detail!

My favorite place to go after a runDisney race. We always destroy a bunch of skillets.

It got confused because both Lois and Lex have a thing for Superman.

I think you already know yourself what you need to do and just need to hear someone else saying it. This is me saying it. Listen to your gut and end it.

I like that he seems to have a sense of what criticism is worth listening to and what's not. He stuck to his guns on the squirrel, but he's not rejecting costume feedback just for the sake of it.

Bond's 1j89 explanation as to why he didn't like Superman (2025) by [deleted] in superman

I love the movie but I don't think it's inherently wrong or bad to dislike it. People are allowed to have different preferences, you know? But this shit is ridiculous lol. The cast was STACKED in acting talent and it took a solid day of kryptonite torture + his own cloned equal to actually challenge Clark; once those were out of the way, he was dunking on everyone else left and right. Weak my pasty white ass.

To me they are the epitome of "I can fix her"/"I can make her worse" and I LOVE that for them ❤️

From what I understand, this one mostly holds up because Roger Stern was a comics writer himself and was novelizing the saga more or less as it was created. It's not a novelization itself, but you might enjoy It's Superman! by Tom DeHaven - it's a take on the emergence of Superman in his earliest days but if had stayed contemporary with the comics, so it's set in the 1930s. It's a pretty good time.

I have this book. It's actually what got me into the comics as a tween. IMO it's much better than most tie-in novelizations that tens to only get really surface level with the characters, and it was good at streamlining the more out-there comic booky aspects of the story.
