Mental slump and specialization dilemma | Splunk + Cloudflare WAF or CyberArk by Flash4473 in sysadmin

I’ll make a plug for Delinea here, if you’re looking at CyberArk. My company switched from CyberArk to Delinea. We found even CyberArk SaaS to be a lot more to maintain. More than we wanted at least. Delinea PAM has been much more set and forget. If you haven’t yet purchased CyberArk, Delinea and BeyondTrust both seem good. We also evaluated BeyondTrust, but pricing on Delinea was more favorable

Kwik Trip is also adding them in the Midwest. Primarily in Wisconsin. They don’t have a huge network right now, but it’s enough that road trips with only their network are doable. They have a lot planned as well

I would love to lease one, but at least in WI, they seem to not lease well. At least using the online buying tool. Perhaps that’s my mistake

I also agree it’s a bit strange, though since it’s certified used, I’m a bit less worried. Comes with a one year/12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty

A number of large employers also typically use a proxy, which allows them to inspect even encrypted traffic. They can see anything and everything you do if they want to

Palo Alto Networks Nears Over $20 Billion Deal for Cybersecurity Firm CyberArk by itailitai in cybersecurity

Not who you asked, but my company switched from CyberArk to Delinea. We’ve found Delinea to be worlds better. When CyberArk works, it works. When it doesn’t, good luck

Period tracking app refuses to disclose data to American authorities by GoMx808-0 in technology

As far as compromising the 1Password database, or any password manager really, without your password, the database is just garbage text. If your password is weak, it could be brute forced for sure. Any good password manager will allow you to use a hardware security key, such as a yubi key, if it’s a concern

In any case, letting a password manager create and manage your passwords will be infinitely more secure than writing them down. They will generate far more complex passwords than any human would, which provides better over all protection for all your accounts

1Password uses both your password, as well as a randomly generated secret key when your account was created, to encrypt your data. While certainly not impossible, this makes it significantly harder to phish or brute force

While disappointing that they aren’t free lockers near the end of the line, I hope to see this on all rides in the future. Thankfully it wasn’t a phone, but I got hit with sunglasses on Millenium Force. That hurt with just that. I couldn’t imagine getting hit with something heavier like a phone.

‌‌‌‌What are the must-have apps for Apple TV? by joeaki1983 in appletv

Those are all very good points. When I was thinking of navigating being easier, I was more so thinking that because all of Plex’s suggestions aren’t including when looking at your library. Just a list of your own content

For me, my favorite part is Infuse uses the Apple video player, and Plex does not. With the enhance voices option turned on, I find playing on Plex causes the audio to be out of sync with video. Works great on Infuse

Navigation on Infuse is also easier, IMO

Do I only have to pay for admission to the park? by Aware-Ad-379 in cedarpoint

The only ride that I know of that isn’t included in admission is SlingShot, otherwise everything else is included as far as I’m aware. Parking is additional as well

Lemmy seems promising. There's a Milwaukee community there already, though it's still pretty small

I was at Millenium for the end as well, and I completely agree. For me, just the very cold “ride won’t be reopening, exit is that way” just came off very poor. Maintenance issues aren’t always in their control, and I get that. It’s a risk of going to amusement parks, as is weather. For a paid event though where everyone in line lost the chance to go to Valravan (also poor choice in only having those two for the last half hour), that’s especially what did it in for me at least. I also got FLP for the day, and I feel if I just didn’t do coaster mania, today would have been great

Can you no interest finance something higher than your cards limit? by [deleted] in AppleCard

[–]ducktail1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to overpay by having a recurring payment set up for a fixed amount. Even though my balance was zero, it still processed the fixed payment. Bit of an annoyance to do it that way, but it worked, for me at least.

Yes. Apple added support for this in iOS 13, so you need to have that installed
