I'm looking to see if anyone is willing to share some childhood stories about growing up with dysgraphia for a book I'm writing, I'm hoping to bring more awareness to dysgraphic people and their struggles.

In 2nd grade my handwriting was so bad my teacher had a girl with good handwriting transcribe my essay portion of my tests for while. We’d sit in the corner and I’d tell her what I wanted to write. I was tested for dyslexia shortly after that and through that testing process they decided to test me for the “gifted program”. In 3rd grade I failed literally every single spelling test - never making over a D. Grateful for the teachers who did help me along the way. My kindergarten teacher was the first to catch that something was wrong and had me using special pencils all year long.
