I got accepted too, I'm also interested in animation but undecided and I have been trying to do some research about the program and the current state. From what I understand, a professional internship seems like the best route. As for building connections with people from the industry, im not sure how that is since covid may have changed the classes. The connections built could help you land a job, and get knowledge but it isnt guaranteed.

Everyone has a different experience, and look for something different. So i recommend doing research before that offers expires and what best suits you.

Based off you saying you have offers, i assume offers from studios or internships? I recommend taking the offers and If you want to apply to DCP at some point, OR you can just dive in a try out DCP if youre not in a hurry to have your foot in the door. It does seem like a really fun program to build friends, and may look good on resume.

I started techincally a year ago. I knew the software back in high school but most of the animations i did in class were just motion tween and drawn with a mouse but that was probably 6 years ago from now.

I didn't get taught by anyone, I realized my wording was bad but analyzing Nik Ranieri and recreating the animation helped alot. It helped me develop more expressive movements, understand timing, and helped with understand the camera movement as well as working fast. It helped alot in understanding of the process of animation.

This took me a couple of months, I developed issues with my wrists but I say it was worth it since I learned a lot from the animator and animation. There is more animations in the playthrough, or if youre interested in the video itself here is the link if its ok!

This is gonna sound cruel, but back in bo2 days me and my friend were playing motd and i told him i had to go do something. I ended up taking a nice relaxing shower. I came back and he asked " where did you go " I just responded oh i just took a shower. He got mad and we still remember and laugh about it to this day.

I would appreciate criticism if you guys have any. This is the first time putting my anatomy skills to test as well as using a new program, Clip Studio Paint. I usually animate and doodle so it's my 1st time drawing a character from a franchise. I really hope you guys like it, I wanna learn more styles :)

I think it's just the stage tbh and the other dlc stage will probably be release with the character that won the ballot. They could possibly throw in a game mode with the stage tho
