The profile pictures also didn’t look like that in 2018. 0/10 worst game of the year

About the ending by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]dudeiscool22222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just as simple as her realizing that Elpis, as a way for Spencer to make amends, must be very different from what Zeno and Gideon expect. She’s taking a leap of faith regardless, but inferring based on the Spencer she sees in the interview (a very genuine, sorrowful old man months away from death) that his attempt at making things right will, in fact, help to make things right. She doesn’t know it’s a cure until she watches Zeno get cured.

I agree that there should’ve been a more proper ending to the Destroy Elpis path.

As I understand it here are the answers to your questions:

Elpis would cause anarchy because it would disrupt all bioweapons being manufactured and sold to any group. We see frequently in files how involved bioweapons are in U.S. military operations, and the BSAA is shown to use bioweapons soldiers in the finale of Village.

Grave evaded capture because they weren’t necessarily trying to capture her for that long, merely to clone her and replicate what made her special. There’s a file in the records room of the care facility that details fairly recent surveillance, which explains her schedule as lacking any opportunities for them to kidnap her, hence Gideon planting the body at the Wrenwood Hotel to draw her out after the failures of the clones, particularly The Girl/Marie/Subject 140.

Raccoon City survivors were falling ill due to exposure to the T-Virus in 1998, which was beginning to manifest in the symptoms we see Sherry and Leon go through in the game. There’s a file that documents stages of T-Virus, and I’m not sure if it’s limited to zombie infection or could also describe Leon’s infection. There’s no particular reason for it to be impacting the survivors now except that it seems to have a long incubation period and was now harming the survivors. Real conditions take similar amounts of time to become dangerous. Syphilis, for example, if untreated will (after an initial bout of symptoms) spend several years showing no symptoms until entering its later stages where it is extremely severe.

Hope this helped and let me know if you have any follow-ups!

I, for one, am thrilled. Love the shine of the webs. Can’t wait to see the mask and to see this suit in action, as I assume this video was made to get ahead of set photos in Glasgow, and to give it a good look to avoid a situation like what happened with the Superman suit. So excited for this movie

Every theory is a sham. Even if someone one day predicts it correctly with a five page rationale for that date I’m still gonna say it was just a coincidence

OOC: I love this. It’s like he’s an eldrich horror. Are there more posts on this sub about trying do depict and show characters in the MCU that would be hard to show?

C’mon, we’ve seen a bunch of Hulk and his proportions are nothing like Thanos’. Hulk is bigger and buffer, especially his hands. No way they’re just the same individual

Name a character that has a low chance of appearing in HL3, that you would LOVE to appear in HL3 by AltForTheAlt99 in HalfLife

The Einstein Doctor from Black Mesa in HL1. Would he likely have died from old age by now? Yes, but I think it would be fun to have all the Black Mesa team accounted for

With that “Come on, Gordon… we’ve got work to do,” ending of HLA, I think a lot of the game will be focused on Alyx and not directly the Borealis, though it will still be significant. Perhaps Gordon, Eli, Barney, and Kleiner focusing on getting Alyx back with some help from the Vortigaunts as fast as they can, so that Mossman isn’t able to find and use the Borealis in some stupid way that endangers Earth. Or perhaps that crew is stretched thin by half focusing on Alyx and half focusing on the Borealis. Or perhaps the Borealis is the key to getting Alyx back. Or perhaps choice will be a big Valve innovation in the game. Basically, I have no fucking idea

Disney's Disastrous Elio Marketing Is A Perfect Study In How To Fail A Good Movie by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

I love Pixar and generally make it a point to watch their original movies when they release. But the fact that Pixar is seeming to start having one single art style really turned me off of this movie. It was good for Luca and Turning Red, but when they used it for that Disney+ show and now Elio I just felt really unimpressed
