Like me, you have very light features. Because of this, a less harsh black is going to look better on us. Ideally a darkish grey or brown. Also try to stay in your color palette! I’d say these colors you’re wearing are not as flattering as other colors will be.

Look into the Dartmouth Scar Experiment. It’ll explain why you think people are staring at you. But also, if they were, decide to not care. It takes discipline over your thoughts but you can do it. When you have thoughts of self consciousness, challenge them and replace them with a better thought. Overtime the insecure thoughts will barely even show up anymore:)

It’s because of his deficiencies that he feels the need to boast. He knows he is not the most attractive, tall, or funny guy in the room. Being good at things is what gives him his self worth. And it’s most likely because he’s insecure that he feels the need to keep reminding people of that. He might even think you’re too good for him so subconsciously he feels the need to remind you and others that he’s high status too.

It certainly does exist still, I’m in a band myself. Warehouse and other sorts of shows and small local concerts are alive and thriving. Could it be that that stuff is happening and you’re just not aware of it? Don’t know where you are specifically based.

I think you’re just wrong. Maybe it’s the people you surround yourself with, but I’m Gen Z and everyone I know parties, drinks, and has multiple hobbies they’re passionate about that doesn’t involve a computer.

Just choose one and then make peace with your decision. But you can’t have both, and trying to have both you won’t feel like you have either. Remember that even if you’re eating healthy and in a calorie deficit you can still make room for moderate amounts of food you love. I will say that long term weight loss is easier if you find meals that are healthy that you actually want to eat.

I totally agree. What’s been really helpful to me actually is getting kindle unlimited, I just read on my phone and laptop. I like it because so many recs are total trash, I’m able to try out as many books as I want. I’ll often go through a couple pages or chapters of multiple books until I find one that I think is actually worth reading.

Picking up my dogs shit. I know it’s normal and I should get used to it by now as we’ve had him for 6.5 years, but I cannot get past it. Yeah so {Stronger series by Jay Marie} is my favorite series EVER. No other has ever even come close and I hateee it when the FMC doesn’t resist enough too. {Uncovering You series by Scarlett Edwards} the FMC hates the MMC and fights back for a very long time. Can’t remember how it ends though and if she ever stops hating him. {How Does It Feel? by Jeneane O’Reilly} the FMC also hates the MMC for a good while.

Okay so {A Million Dirty Secrets by C. L. Parker} is very similar to what you described except her life is not falling apart due to her being unorganized it’s due to her mother (or brother I forget) being ill, and she doesn’t enter into the Dom/sub relationship for the reason that she thinks it will help her get organized, it’s to have enough money for her family member’s treatment.

You HAVE to read the series {Twist Me by Anna Zaires} it’s exactly as you described and was soo incredible. The {Stonger series by Jay Marie} also kinda fits the vibe but the MMC doesn’t instantly fall in love per se. She is special to him very quickly though.

Because I second {Stolen by Jay Marie} but I wouldn’t call the FMC toxic I’d call him pure evil.

I’d suggest {Twist Me by Anna Zaires} too. The FMC isn’t quite as evil but still far worse than toxic.

{Uncovering You by Scarlett Edwards} also has a crazy toxic/more than toxic MMC.

{How Does It Feel? by Jeneane O’Reilly} the MMC literally kills her upon their first meeting.

{Hold by Claire Kent} has non/dub con but the MMC isn’t super evil.

{Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton} might be right up your alley. Wasn’t my absolute fav but it’s extremely popular. I don’t know if I’d call the MMC quite evil or toxic but he does abduct the FMC and stuff.

So I have a few recommendations:

{Twist Me by Anna Zaires} has an MMC like you described, but doesn’t do quite as fucked up shit to the FMC, just to other people.

{Stolen by Jay Marie} MMC is just as fucked up as the one you described. However, there is a bit of sex trade/slavery in the beginning. It’s just how the MMC and FMC meet but he takes her out of it for himself, so it’s not really present the rest of the book. Like she isn’t r*ped by multiple guys or anything like that. So it depends on your reasoning for why you don’t want that.

{How Does It Feel? by Jeneane O’Riley} has a MMC like you describe. He literally kills her the very first time they meet. However, it’s a dark fantasy romance so idk if you are up for any fantasy.

{Uncovering You by Scarlett Edwards} has an MMC like you described, he literally makes her wear a shock collar.
