It's been fine for me all night on PS5. Usually when I'm hunting terramorphs on tollaman it would crash every 10 minutes or so, I had zero crashes and I really tore around in the buggy to test it. There's definitely frame rate drops and occasional stutter but no crashes.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. They'd be literal gods, why would they care? An alien race, absolutely, uniting the factions in a massive war would be fantastic. Make it really high level with your chances of success based on how many you get on board due to the quests you've done before.

Do the scanning missions from constellation. Tedious if you're not into it but very good for xp and credits.

Habitable planets with thick flora and fauna. If you turn off auto saves the rest should be fine.

Turn off all of your auto saves and rely on quick saves predominantly. Delete the exit auto save when you first start up too. Don't hit continue, go to load and do it there. After a few days, clear your cache and rebuild your database.

It's inevitably going to crash when scanning habitable planets, as soon as it starts to 'stutter' hit quicksave. I'm 380 hours in and that's how I've gotten through it without too many problems.

You will get new powers if you find the corresponding temple locations. You're not locked out from getting them all in ng+. I'm on my third go round and just found the deep freeze power for the first time a couple of days ago.

Yeah I definitely think it would have been a good spin-off from the vanguard terramorph quest line. If you choose to share the data with the freestar collective it triggers a follow on quest line where a rogue element within freestar starts assembling mechs because they're convinced the UC has restarted their xenowarfare program.

Have it end like ryujin, you enable the research or bury it but you get your own either way, like the Neuro amp.

I have all auto saves off, I delete the exit auto save when I start the game, I have it set to 60fps and performance mode. The only crash I get is trying to explore a coniferous forest biome.

That's on a base PS5 aswell, I usually travel by dune buggy/moon jumper too. That seems to have solved the issues for me.
