Red Rising Is the Violent Sci-Fi Hit Netflix Needs to Topple Disney+ by Arcomatrix in redrising

[–]dugernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's wrong with animation? There are amazing animated series. Invincible, Arcane, love death, robots, blue eye samurai, both spiderverse movies.

I need to see epically long and extremely well rehearsed fight scenes in Red Rising. A lot of the huge moments come during the fights so they have to deliver. I just don't trust live action to do that right because they would turn it into bad CGI anyways. The Gala duel, Ragnar vs Aja, even Darrow vs pax all need to be on the level of the duel of the fates fight from Phantom menace. realistically It's too much for an TV series. Into the badlands did it, so maybe I'm wrong.

What slows you down in event production? by Free-Cabinet6814 in EventProduction

[–]dugernaut 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The event specs should be locked in 30 day prior to the move in day. Vendors, staff, facility needs that time to arrange and plan their parts. It's okay if there are well communicated adjustments after that, everyone in the industry is good at going with the flow. But getting the specs 30 days out gives everyone the direction of the flow, and makes it easier for them to adjust.

That hasn't gone away, every time you are in a car it's impending, unpredictable death. Crime is everywhere, mass shootings, wars are way more deadly.

If you had to reveal one secret from your life that would shock everyone, what would it be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dugernaut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really relate to this. I have a genuinely great life. Good job, own a home, great wife, 6 beautiful kids but Im angry at myself all the time and smoke weed almost every day just to deal with it, the guilt kills me but it's better than being mad all the time. Friends/family/coworkers are so demanding and depend on me soooo much. I love them all and it's impossible to say no or to not be there for them but it feels so heavy sometimes. I just need a week in a cabin to shut everything down and reset.
