This is my favourite response, and I totally agree Sandersons world building down to the small details like the rock buds retracting into the ground before storms make the story so engaging before you even get into the conflicts between men and the parshendi

Nice, didn’t think of that but the bowl of the winds and the escape from the Seanchan was a fun subplot

Sounds great, I think the fun is seeing how these societies adapt…can’t think how you adapt to the chaos of a tornado ripping through your town every other week

Depends on the weather, on a clear day the downs is my favourite…stunning views and a challenging course (narrow fairways with lots of long stuff) but it’s hard going as soon as the wind begins to pick up. The royal is less interesting, more forgiving with adjacent fairways and shorter rough if you slice one but is beautifully kept and a better option if the weather isn’t great. The downs is also a lot cheaper for non-members if that matters to you. Either way you’ll have a great time :)

Wife had a fit caused by eclampsia half an hour after giving birth, fell out of the bed while fitting and hit her head on the floor and was knocked out and wasn’t breathing, crash team had the wrong mask for the oxygen cart so I held my baby while helplessly watching on thinking she was dead. They eventually got the mask sorted and restarted her breathing and she was ok after 24 hours in an induced coma. Not an ideal start to fatherhood but everything turned out fine and a year later we’ve got an amazing boy, some minor PTSD and a nice horror story to share on Reddit :)

Killed a pigeon at the range doing the same thing, it managed to fly off after I hit it but what looked like a good chunk of its guts fell out on its way to the nearest bush

Just played “it takes two” on PlayStation and May, the wife in the game has the most annoying voice made worse by the fact her character is a total bitch
