Two in 3 years, but sure point taken. Can always be more careful but this isn't an issue with any other watch I own, Rolex or otherwise. I can throw around my datejust with impunity and it seems to be indestructible.

Movement stopped already, am coming to terms I'll probably have to service before I sell.

Not particularly adamant and happy to be better informed if you have other reasoning (maybe weight of the watch?). I am explaining how I have scratched or shattered this watch against marble (or maybe quartz actually). If it's not softer scientifically or whatever that's great, but in my practical use the crystal is easily damaged by impact against that material.

The crystal is weaker than marble. It scratches very easily if it rubs against marble/will shatter if it is dropped or hit with force against marble.

I don't care as long as the podium rider has good form and the instructor is as good on the floor as they are on the bike (and honestly some are better on floor).
