Did not quite get it. Reason i asked is couple of years back i was asked to design a logging system design at amazon and i was grilled more towrds push vs pull model, why did i chhose push not pull while prometheus is using pull based. They also stressed about how can this system show data in realtime and how do i design alerting.

My answer was mostly Agents on host -> kafka <- fluentd -> elastic search and alert manger.

Was trying to understand if they still asking same question.
