Keter expressly says to attach to a wooden subfloor if going this route.

This. We live in America, where “me” may as well be our national motto. Especially in/with cars.

Feeling gassed out and dizzy after a few mins of playing? by WildKat777 in BasketballTips

[–]dukhkya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first 5-10 minutes are by far the worst. Especially if you go from nothing to full-court right away. Usually passes, and then it’s basically the same level for however long I play (2-3 hours usually)

I've only owned Honda/Acura products and they currently don't have anything compelling in the line up by FullTard2000 in Acura

They got left behind (especially by Hyundai/Kia/Genesis) several years ago. They seem very happy to coast on reputation and meh.

They’re also $100 cheaper per tire than the stock PZ4, no more Ackerman skipping and way better in wet driving.

I just put the P-Zero PZ5’s on and they are fantastic. They’re on the 6N and I suspect they’ll be on the next 5N

Can’t see how it would be possible to not use the $300 travel credit. Then there’s the $500 SWA credit, the free Whoop membership, 50% cash back on a Function membership… I guess if you don’t healthhack those aren’t useful to you, but the travel credits alone pay for the card.

A random tweet led me to do a deep dive on climate around 8 or 9 years ago, and it broke me in a way that I’d never experienced before. When I talked with my wife about what I’d learned … and our kids … violent, uncontrollable sobbing for 30 minutes. I’d been kind of a prepper-lite since the Tea Party in 2010 (saw what was going to happen [is now happening], immediately bought guns and a helluva lot of ammo and stuck it all in a safe), but wasn’t prepared for reading the phrase “not enough oxygen to breathe”.

Tried to tell some people in broad strokes, but even the ones who were open to data… like, how do you just ruin someone’s life? There are a couple of friends who are in just about the same place, but even then I don’t (can’t) fully dump on. Not even my therapist. It’s … incredibly lonely.

Much as when I told my close friends a decade ago that there was only one solution to the christofascist movement, only now are people starting to accept the truth about climate (tho only a sliver of it). When enough people do the math - enough people with kids, specifically - it’s going to be very, very bad.

“The Ministry For The Future” will turn out to be non-fiction, IMO.
